TXT's "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" Surpasses 470,000 Albums Sold

TXT, also known as Tomorrow X Together and consists of members Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Subin, Taehyun, and Hueningkai, is about to become a half-million seller with their recently released album, "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE."

According to the Hanteo chart, TXT's second full album, "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE," which was released on May 31 at 6 pm KST, has already sold 476,665 album copies as of June 2 at 9 pm KST. This record only came after two days of the album's release, proving the group's growing popularity both domestic and overseas.

TXT's initial sales in the first week of the album's release are expected to increase further. On the day of the release of "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE," the album's pre-order volume, which is the quantity placed by domestic and foreign wholesales and distributors, had exceeded 700,000 album copies.

This proves to be TXT's best performance yet in terms of album sales, as it is more than double the pre-order of the group's third mini-album, "Minisode1: Blue Hour," which recorded 300,000 album copies sold, and considering the fact that the pre-order for TXT's debut album, "The Dream Chapter: Star," recorded 100,000 album copies, showing the group's explosive growth in just a span of a little over two years since their debut on March 4, 2019.

TXT, who won around ten rookie awards and showed their presence as a "monster rookie" of HYBE (formerly Big Hit Entertainment), has established themselves as a representative of fourth-generation idols.

In addition, with their new album, TXT has climbed to the top of iTunes Top Albums chart in over 45 countries and regions around the world, including the United Kingdom, Japan, Canada, the Netherlands, and Brazil. The album's title track, "0X1=Lovesong (I Know I Love You)," had also topped the iTunes Top Song chart in 31 countries and regions.

"0X1=LOVESONG" is a trendy hybrid of the pop-rock genre. The music video tells the story of five boys who feel helpless in the face of reality as nothing goes their way and shows the five members' delicate facial expressions and intense performance.
