SHINee's Taemin Loves His Haters and The Reason Why Has Fans Heartbroken

During a past live broadcast, SHINee and SuperM member Taemin revealed what he feels about his haters. To his surprise, the "MOVE" singer revealed that he actually loves his haters as well as his fans. Taemin stated that he believes that there are valid reasons as to why they hate him.

Taemin adds that he believes the people who hate him do so because they are huge fans of other celebrities.

With a smile, Taemin stated, "And I think those stars they like are also people I like. That is why I love my haters too."

Though he said his answer with a smile, fans expressed sadness over Taemin's words. Many believed that Taemin had come to this conclusion after going through a lot of stress and despair over his haters.

SHINee Taemin's Recent Activities

On April 19, 2021, Taemin announced during a live broadcast on the Naver V Live app that he would enlist for his mandatory military service on May 31, 2021. Prior to his enlistment, Taemin dropped his third Korean mini-album, "Advice," on May 18, 2021. The mini-album consists of five songs with a title track of the same name.

Before his enlistment, Taemin  promoted "Advice" on "M! Countdown," "Show! Music Core," and "Inkigayo." "Advice" was praised for its creativity and for Taemin's androgynous aesthetic. Taemin was applauded for his charismatic and versatile performance.

"Advice" is an R&B song that makes use of piano flourishes and a choir arrangement over a trap beat.

Back in Sept. 2020, Taemin released the first part of his third Korean studio album, "Never Gonna Dance Again." He released the second part in Nov. 2020. According to Taemin, the album featured his highest level of creative involvement in his music and was a moment of growth for him as an artist. He intended to show off his individual talent and his style.

"Never Gonna Dance Again" was a turning point in Taemin's career, with songs revolving around themes of identity and rebirth.
