On June 30, the global K-pop fandom platform, "Whosfan" held a worldwide poll "WhosPICK" under the theme, "Which Idols Have Contrasting Charm On and Off Stage." The online voting, then, ran from June 22 to 28, wherein the candidates were voted through official social media channels.
MONSTA X Joohoney Named as the Best Idol with Contrasting Image On and Off Stage
In the poll, Jooheon of MONSTA X, also known as Joohoney, reigned as the best idol with contrasting charms. After a fierce battle, the male idol rapper topped the list with 37.13 percent of the total votes.
As a prize, Jooheon will receive a pop-up ad in the app that will run for a week, along with a special article about him.
In the article written by HanteoNews, the affiliated site highlighted Joohoney's strong image on stage. Regarded as one of the best rappers in the K-pop scene, the male star was known for his crisp rap with perfect and accurate diction regardless of the language.
Joohoney was also praised for his dance. Although their dance doesn't involve extremely difficult choreographies, the group still uses unique dancing techniques that are not common to other idols. Due to this, fans are commending him for his strong identity when dancing, not to mention his amazing vocal skills as well.
Due to the powerful songs and concepts of MONSTA X, Joohoney is usually described as "cold," "fierce," and "tough-looking."
But, offstage, Jooheoney, just like his sweet stage name is actually an idol full of aegyo! In terms of cute acts, Jooheon is really the aegyo master of the team. He is also soft-hearted, who is popular among kids. He, recently, appeared in "Return of Superman, " capturing the Yoon siblings' hearts immediately, particularly Heesung. He may be tough-looking, but he is also a crybaby especially during heartwarming events.

TWICE Momo, The Boyz Juyeon, and More: 8 K-pop Idols with Contrasting Image On and Off Stage
Following Joohoney, TWICE Momo and The Boyz Juyeon ranked second and third, respectively. TWICE's Momo received 35.26 percent of the votes, while Juyeon gained 10.8 percent.
Indeed, both the female and male idols flaunted fiery charisma on stage. But, off-camera, Momo as well as Juyeon were the cutest idols.
TREASURE member Bang Yedam and SEVENTEEN member Hoshi trailed behind them as fourth and fifth place, respectively. Contrary to their cute and soft appearances, the two are "monsters" on stage, in terms of singing, dancing, and overall performance.
EPEX Keum, P1Harmony Jiung, and Ciipher Tan also entered the rankings, ranking sixth to eighth places.
