MONSTA X Hyungwon Revealed to Have Paid for Every Customer at Restaurant
On Saturday, July 3, a fan shared a heartwarming story concerning MONSTA X member Hyungwon on social media. The MONBEBE (MONSTA X fan) revealed that Minhyun had spoken about a galbi-jim (braised short ribs) restaurant in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam, on a radio show, and she decided to visit the restaurant.
While the fan knew that Hyungwon was a fan of the restaurant, she did not expect to see the idol. Because of that, she was shocked when the idol was there, eating galbi-jim! The MONBEBE said that she briefly went over to the idol to say hi to him, and she felt extremely nervous. "My hands and legs shook so much," the fan revealed.

After finishing his meal, the idol decided to not only pay for his and the fan's meal, but for all the tables at the restaurant! "He is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out," said the fans.
After this post went viral with MONSTA X fans, another fan shared a similar anecdote to social media. Another fan went to the same galbi-jim restaurant in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam, and happened to bump into Hyungwon while she was there.
She stated she went to the restaurant because she was craving galbi-jim and not for any other reason. The fan then said that it was probably just their lucky day and gushed over how amazingly good-looking the male idol looked that day.
The fan then revealed that he, once again, paid for every customer at the restaurant. As the "FANTASIA" singer was leaving, he told everyone to enjoy their meal. The MONBEBE revealed that she fell for the idol even more after that incident.
After these posts went viral, fans left many heart-warming comments about Hyungwon. The idol was praised for being an angel and paying for the meals of everyone there, commenting on how kinds he is. Many noted that the bill for the idol must have been high, and yet he chose to go out of his way to do so for everyone.

MONSTA X released their ninth mini-album, "One of a Kind," and its title track "Gambler" on June 1. That same month, MONSTA X signed with Intertwine, a company established in partnership with BMG. MONSTA X is the first of two artists to sign under the label, and the company will distribute MONSTA X's upcoming Korean albums.
In June 2021, Hyungwon was announced as part of the cast for the upcoming musical web drama "Fly Again." He will be playing the male lead, Han Yo Han. The drama revolves around Han Yo Han and how his dream changes from being a genius dancer to an aspiring idol after meeting his school's dance club, "Villians."
Minhyuk and Hyungwon were chosen as the new model for the YouTube channel "INSSAOPPA G." The two MONSTA X members will be transforming into different "sub-characters" for each episode and will introduce the latest trends and Gmarket shop products.
