BLACKPINK Continues to Show Global Impact as "As If It's Your Last" Surpasses 300 Million Streams on Spotify
According to BLACKPINK's label, YG Entertainment, the four-member "It" group's song, "As If It's Your Last" had surpassed 300 million streams on the global music platform, Spotify, on July 5.
This achievement marks "As If It's Your Last" as the sixth song released by BLACKPINK to surpass the 300 million mark, following their other hit songs such as "Kill This Love," "How You Like That," "DDU-DU DDU-DU," "Ice Cream" featuring American singer Selena Gomez, and Jennie's debut solo song "SOLO," which have all surpassed 400 million streams on Spotify.
Not only that, but BLACKPINK is continuing to show their global impact. Not only their recently released songs, but also the group's songs from the earlier days of their debut are showing rapid growth in streams on Spotify with their 14.5 million monthly listeners on the platform.

In addition, BLACKPINK's other songs such as "BOOMBAYAH," "Playing With Fire," "Lovesick Girls," and "Whistle" have surpassed the 200 million streams on Spotify; while "Forever Young" has surpassed 180 million streams.
Currently, BLACKPINK has accumulated a total of more than 16 billion streams across all of the songs that they have released so far on the platform, and 22.8 million followers on Spotify - maintaining their rank as a top K-Pop girl group.
"As If It's Your Last" was released back on June 22, 2017 as a single. Written and produced by YG Entertainment's in-house producer Teddy Park, Lydia Paek, Brother Su, Future Bounce, and Choice37, the song is described as a mix of classical, synthpop, reggae, house, and moombahton, with its lyrics containing the message of asking one to love with all their might, as if it's their last love.
The song was a success topped Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart, as well as got selected in Billboard's Top 25 Youtube songs that swept the summer.

"BLACKPINK The Movie" Set to Premiere This Coming August
In other news, BLACKPINK is gearing up for the release of their movie, "BLACKPINK The Movie," this coming August - the month of their debut - as part of their debut anniversary project "4+1 PROJECT."
"BLACKPINK The Movie" is set to premiere on August 4 and 8 in more than 100 countries worldwide. The movie will include various sequences such as "The Room of Memory," which will showcase the memories that the four members, Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo have shared over the past five years since their debut; "Beauty" which will showcase strong images of the members with distinct personalities; and an "Unreleased Special Interview" dedicated to fans.
In addition, five songs from their concerts "THE SHOW" and "In Your Area (2018)" will be included in the movie to give the audience an experience as if they were in a concert hall.
