Brave Girls to Halt Activities and Undergo COVID-19 Testing

On July 7 KST, Brave Girls' label, Brave Entertainment, told media outlets that the group would be undergoing preemptive testing for COVID-19 after they have received the news that an external staff member who recently participated in one of Brave Girls' filming schedules was confirmed to have tested positive of COVID-19.

"We were told that it was okay by health authorities [not an official request] as the staff member was not in close contact with any of the members. However, because the members have schedules they have to go to, they will be undergoing testing for COVID-19 just in case," said the representative of Brave Entertainment.

The label also announced that they will be halting Brave Girls' current activities and will go into self-quarantine until they get the results of their COVID-19 testing and follow the health guidelines set by authorities.

As a result, the members were not able to attend their scheduled appearance on KBS Cool FM's radio show, "Jung Eun Ji's Music Plaza," today (July 7).

In other news, Brave Girls recently made their comeback last month with the release of their fifth mini-album, "Summer Queen," on June 17. Since then, the group has been actively promoting in various music programs and making appearances in variety shows.
