BLACKPINK Collaborates with Starbucks Thailand for Launch of Special Merchandise

A special merchandise in collaboration with BLACKPINK will be launched. According to media outlets on July 9 KST, Starbucks Thailand will be releasing a special merchandise in collaboration with BLACKPINK and using the group's logo.

BLACKPINK Collaborates with Starbucks Thailand for Launch of Special Merchandise 

Starbucks Thailand will be launching cute tumblers and glasses that features BLACKPINK's heart logo in two colors that symbolize the group - black and pink.

Although the BLACKPINK members themselves will not be directly promoting the merchandise, the value of the collection is increased by the IP business' expansion.

As pre-leaked photos of the BLACKPINK tumbler and glass merchadise are making its rounds on social media platforms, fans are already excited for its launch. As the special merchadise is only available in Starbucks Thailand, fans from all over the world are requesting for the BLACKPINK and Starbucks collaboration merchandise to be available in their countries as well.

BLACKPINK's popularity in Thailand is unparalleled, especially having the group's Thai member, Lisa. It is expected that the special merchandise will immediately be out-of-stock.

In other news, BLACKPINK is commemorating their fifth year anniversary since their debut back in 2016 with the "4+1 PROJECT," where they plan to continuously communicate with fans through the release of special content in the second half of this year, such as the released of their movie "BLACKPINK The Movie" and the release of a photo book.

YG Entertainment Confirms BLACKPINK's Rosé and Jennie are Working on Music in the United States

Earlier this month, BLACKPINK fans were surprised when they found out that Rosé and Jennie were in the United States, given that there were no reports of the members' departures or if they have any schedules activities in the country.

Since then, the members have been spotted with several celebrities such as Dua Lipa, Anthony Vaccarello, Sofia Richi, Simi and Haze Khadra, Moises Arias, Jaden Smith, and more.

As fans were curious to know the reason for their arrival in the United States, the group's label, YG Entertainment, had confirmed back on July 2 that the two members are currently working on music while in the country.

Jennie's "SOLO" Surpasses 300 Million Streams on Spotify

Meanwhile, Jennie's debut solo song "SOLO" had surpassed 300 million streams on Spotify, making Jennie the first Korean solo artist to do so. Back in October 2020, Jennie had surpassed PSY's hit song "Gangnam Style" to become the most streamed song by Korean solo artist.

Jennie made her solo debut with "SOLO" back in November 2018 as the first member of BLACKPINK to make their solo debut. The song was a success, topping multiple charts, such as major music sites in South Korea and taking the top spot on iTunes in over 40 countries worldwide.
