Thanks to SEVENTEEN's lightstick, Carat Bong, a Chinese CARAT was rescued from China's worst flooding.

Chinese SEVENTEEN Fan Rescued From Flood Thanks to Lightstick

On July 21 local time, a Chinese CARAT, a fan of SEVENTEEN, shared on the Chinese social media platform, Weibo, that she was rescued from a flood thanks to her SEVENTEEN lightstick - known as Carat Bong.

Currently, the province of Henan in China recorded heavy rain fell and the worst flooding for the first time in over a thousand years, with eight people going missing and 33 people dead.

According to the Chinese fan's post on Weibo, "After the disaster had passed, we were able to return to peace. The rescue team found me immediately. I want to let Cheol-ri [Chinese fans' nickname for S.Coups] know that the lightstick [Carat Bong] is really bright."

Chinese SEVENTEEN fan shares how she was rescued thanks to the group's lightstick.

Upon learning of how SEVENTEEN's lightstick was able to help get someone rescued, other fans comments on the post. Many agreed that the lightstick is incredibly bright, that you can ask for help when you need it or in disasters. Another person said that they used the lightstick while walking on the way home from the subway station late at night.

In fact, SEVENTEEN's leader, S.Coups, have said in the past that he wished for the lightstick to be really bright as it bothers him to know that fans will have to walk home late at night after a concert.

SEVENTEEN's Vernon Hilariously Introduces Himself as "Zach"

Vernon made a mistake as he introduced himself!

Back on July 7, SEVENTEEN made a guest appearance on the popular radio show, "Zach Sang Show," as part of their promotions for their latest mini-album release "Your Choice."

During the opening of the show, both the host, Zach Sang, and the members of SEVENTEEN greeted each other and the viewers. As the members introduced themselves in order, Vernon, without hesitation and thinking for a second, hilariously introduced himself saying, "Hi, I am Zach."

As the members remained silent and gave Vernon a confused look, Vernon immediately realized his mistake, laughing and commenting, "Wait, did I say 'Hi, I am Zach'? Hi, I am Vernon!"

As the members burst into laughter, Seungkwan commented how he thought Vernon was trying to be funny, to which Vernon denied.

The members jokingly called Vernon "Zach," with Zach Sang also laughing at the idol's mistake.
