The Internet is always overflowing with rumors as to whether some lucky person has struck it rich with a member of the K-pop industry's quintessential band of heartthrobs. In keeping with tradition, it's only fitting to review both hard facts and gossip to see if the BTS members are dating anyone in 2021. 

Suga relationship status

Starting with the Bangtan Boys' lovable grandpa, Suga has dismissed relatively every relationship rumor concerning him so far.

Despite some visible chemistry with previous collaborations, such as with Suran in the single, "Wine," and "Eight" with K-pop idol IU, the member has explicitly clarified that he is not engaged in a romantic relationship with either idol. Min Yoongi has even gone so far as to say that he's "too busy to date" right now.

V relationship status

V is busy concocting his KTH1 mixtape to be released sometime in 2021. As a result, word on the street is that V is currently single and not particularly focused on dating someone.

The BTS member had been linked to Love in the Moonlight actress Kim Yoo Jung, although there is little substantial evidence to back up any claim that the two have ever been dating.

One of the more long-standing rumors involves V being romantically tied to a long-time BTS fan named Hayeon, better known as Hi Nuna. Big Hit Entertainment has actually stepped in to confirm that both V and Hi Nuna are friends and regularly talk with each other, although the two are not dating.

Jimin relationship status

As of July 2021, Jimin is undeniably single, although he has his share of relationship rumors. His brightest flame was rumoured to be former Kara vocalist Seungyeon, who has explicitly stated in an interview that Jimin "had caught [her] eye" while promoting their shows.

RM relationship status

The boys' team leader, RM, maintains that he is single, although he has displayed several signs that he was once romantically involved with at least one person, which helped provide part of the emotional fuel for Love Yourself, to which RM wrote the lyrics.

Jin relationship status

Keeping up with the pattern, Jin appears to be just as single as the rest of his squad right now.

Jin did strike up a friendship with Leo Guk-Joo, the South Korean comedienne, who stated in an interview that the two have known each other for years and that Lee had cheered Jin on when they first debuted in Music Core.

J-Hope relationship status

Compared to his band brothers, J-Hope has a surprisingly pristine track record when it comes to romances. He has not been tied to any substantial rumor that he's dating anyone since the band first started. To that end - as of July 2021, J-Hope remains single.

Jungkook relationship status

The baby of the group likes someone who's smart and good at cooking and singing. However, it seems that Jungkook is officially single right now.

Past evidence suggests that Jungkook had been romantically involved with a lot of girls, including Lovelyz star Jeong Ye In, DIA singer Jung Chae-yeon, and a former CUBE trainee named Ko So-hyun.

Are BTS members allowed to date?

Both Big Hit Entertainment and the band's members themselves are notoriously tight-lipped when it comes to BTS' personal lives - even if the company has never openly acknowledged that the band is ever contractually restricted from dating, K-pop culture has traditionally kept its idols from pursuing relationships.
