Former miss A Min Talks About Bae Suzy, JYP Entertainment and Dating G Soul
On the latest vlog uploaded by Esna, the former miss A Min revealed how she became a trainee under JYP Entertainment, talks about Bae Suzy, dating G Soul, and more.
Recently, the American singer-songwriter Esna uploaded a new video on her YouTube channel, "Min from miss A talks about her experience at JYP."
In the talk show, "Not So Classy," the singer and idol played the "drinking game," wherein the person who wasn't able to answer a question will drink a shot.
Former miss A Min Revealed G Soul Wrote A lot of Songs About Her
In the talk show, the K-pop idol shared that G Soul, whom she dated, wrote several songs about her after their breakup in 2017.
When asked if how did she feel being the main character of the singer-songwriter tracks, Min said, "I feel special," adding how grateful and proud, she is to become an inspiration of beautiful compositions.
In November 2016, G Soul and Min revealed their dating status in the K-pop industry. After publicly dating for six months, it was reported in March 2017 that the two broke up and decided to remain friends just like how they were before.

Min Revealed She Was Kick Out by JYP Prior to Debut Due to Her Weight
As the game went on, Esna asked Min about her trainee life before becoming an idol.
Min said, "I was a trainee 8 years, and I won first place in an audition at Lotte World." The female star also mentioned that she was only in fifth grade (12 years old) when she started to train as a K-pop idol, spending about 15 years of her life to JYP Entertainment and as an idol before she left the group and the agency.
During her pre-debut days, the ex-miss A member shocked viewers when she talked about being kicked out a lot in JYP for not losing weight. Due to her weight problem, Min was sent back to Korea after training in LA and New York.
Seeing her co-trainees and friends became members of Wonder Girls, 2AM and 2PM, Min initially decided to give up three times and just become a dancer in New York.
Eventually, she regretted her decision and asked J.Y. Park to give her another chance, and she decided to lose weight seriously.
Min Mentioned miss A and Bae Suzy
When Min was chosen as a member of miss A, the other group members, including the Chinese line Fei and Jia, were already practicing other songs different to their debut track, "Bad Girl, Good Girl."
She mentioned that she didn't really know Suzy aside from the Chinese members because the idol only trained shortly before their debut. When asked if Min and the members have trouble during their debut, Min emphasized, "No, not in the beginning."
As the conversation went on, Esna recalled the time Suzy was criticized for her weight, comparing her skinny look in their MV and her weight gain while shooting her debut drama, "Dream High." Min then defended her, "She was like a high school girl (back then), come on."
Lastly, when Min was asked if she would want to debut with the same members again, but will only have to take two members, she didn't answer the question and said, "There's a lot of people who think I bullied someone, but I want to make it right."
