BTOB Minhyuk Tested Positive for COVID-19
Back on July 17, it was reported that BTOB member Minhyuk had tested positive for COVID-19. Prior to that, Minhyuk took a rapid COVID-19 test after reports of his vocal teacher having tested positive.
At the time, Minhyuk's test results came out negative on two different tests - such as PCR and speed antigen.
Following his tests, Minhyuk went into quarantine. However, during his quarantine, Minhyuk had visited the health center again after experiencing fever and cough symptoms, and tested positive the next day.

BTOB Minhyuk Updates Fans on Current Condition After Recovering from COVID-19
After two weeks, Minhyuk had announced that he has recovered from COVID-19.
On July 30 KST, Minhyuk held a live broadcast through his Instagram account. During the broadcast, he revealed to fans that he was discharged from the hospital on the same day.
"Today, I got discharged from the hospital. I am back, thanks to everyone who have been sending encouragements to me. A lot of you got curious after hearing the news, so I decided to turn on the live broadcast to tell you how I am doing," said Minhyuk.
Fans have noticed that Minhyuk had lost weight during his hospitalization, to which Minhyuk responded by saying that it is true that he had lost weight. He reveals that he had been preparing for a photoshoot for his body profile prior to testing positive, so he had worked hard to exercise, and eventually got to the weight of 62kg with less body fat.
However, when he got tested positive and was eventually discharged from the hospital, his weight dropped down 4kg, becoming 58kg. He attributes his weight loss to losing muscle as he couldn't exercise during his recovery period.

During the time Minhyuk was diagnosed to be positive of COVID-19, he said his temperature was up to 40 degrees celsius, and that an ambulance had to take him to the hospital early in the morning, and was eventually hospitalized for a week.
"My temperature had stayed consistently at around 39 degrees during the seven to eight days that I started feeling the symptoms [of COVID-19]. Despite being given medicine to reduce the fever, my reduced temperature was at 38 degrees," revealed Minhyuk.
He continues to explain that it is good that some people who test positive are asymptomatic or only have mild symptoms that don't turn serious. However, as a person who had tested positive and suffered from the symptoms of cough, high fever, and headache, he advises everyone to be very careful during the pandemic.
