IZ*ONE's Lee Chaeyeon Breaks Down After Facing Discrimination on Mnet's 'Street Woman Fighter'
Recently, Mnet shared a preview of their upcoming all-girl dance survival show, "Street Woman Fighter," on their official Youtube channel. In the two-minute and 24-second preview, the competition can already be seen being fierce as the dancers go head-to-head with one another to come out at the top.
However, despite the show not having premiered yet, tension and drama can already be seen. In particular, former IZ*ONE member, Lee Chaeyeon, was seen breaking down into tears and saying, "I don't think I can dance anymore."

In the preview, there was also a scene in which Lee Chaeyeon can be seen wearing numerous stickers that say, "No respect." Fans have guessed that the contestants had to choose which dancer they respect the most and that Lee Chaeyeon was the least respected among them.
In addition, there seems to be discrimination amongst the dancers as well. The contestants of the show are mainly professional dancers who built a career out of dancing, which led them to discriminate against Lee Chaeyeon, who they described as an "idol dancer" and believe that their "purpose of dancing is very different" from that of a professional dancer.

'Produce' Mentor and Dancer Bae Yoon Jung Shows Support for Lee Chaeyeon
Fans who saw the preview were saddened to see Lee Chaeyeon cry on the show, and have been sending her heartwarming messages of support. One of them being dancer and mentor of the "Produce" series, Bae Yoon Jung.
In the comment section of the show's preview, Bae Yoon Jung left a comment for Lee Chaeyeon.
"Chaeyeon-ah, as I often said, it is important to perform well. But the fact that you are challenging yourself is really excellent. Let's enjoy the competition too. You are already the best. I will always be behind to support you. Fighting," commented Bae Yoon Jung.
For those who are fans of Lee Chaeyeon, Bae Yoon Jung, and the "Produce" series, the dancer's comment is indeed heartwarming.
Back when Lee Chaeyeon was competing in "Produce 48," Bae Yoon Jung had expressed her happiness with the former IZ*ONE member's dancing skills and was left with a good impression.
In fact, Bae Yoon Jung had named Lee Chaeyeon as one of the best young dancers, alongside big names such as BLACKPINK's Lisa, Red Velvet's Seulgi, and Chungha. Lee Chaeyeon's participation in "Street Woman Fighter" will definitely receive great support from her former mentor.
