MAMAMOO To Hold First Online Concert 'WAW'
On August 6 KST, MAMAMOO announced that they will be having an online concert through the release of their 2021 MAMAMOO online concert, "WAW," poster on the group's official fan cafe.
The released poster features the four MAMAMOO members posing at a track field while donning matching black and white striped outfits. Their poster represents the finish line that celebrates their seven-year journey, and that the members' aspirations are at the starting point that signifies a new beginning.

It is also worth noting that their outfits are reminiscent to that of their outfits from when they made their debut with "Mr. Ambiguous" back in June 2018, which symbolically shows just how far MAMAMOO has gone.
The 2021 MAMAMOO online concert, "WAW," will be MAMAMOO's first concert in two years and one month following their "4season F/W" concert in Daegu back in July 2019.
Originally, MAMAMOO had planned to hold their concert offline, however, due to the recent spread and increase of COVID-19 cases, they had decided to hold an online concert instead.
Currently, MAMAMOO is preparing various things for their first online concert, from utilizing various props and sets that can make the most of an online concert, to a special stage that has never been shown by the "Starry Night" singers. They are determined to show fans a true MAMAMOO concert and repay their love and support.

Meanwhile, their concert will be held on Saturday, August 28 at 7pm KST. Ticket sales for the concert will be through Olleh TV, Interpark, and Seezn, and will begin on August 17 KST.

MAMAMOO Wheein's Representatives Deny Reports of Signing With H1GHR Music
Previously, it was reported that MAMAMOO Wheein would be joining with an exclusive contract at Jay Park's label, H1GHR Music, and were wrapping up their discussions.

Amid the reports, Wheein's representatives have released a statement, stating that it is not true that Wheein is in the final stages of discussions regarding signing at exclusive contract with the hip-hop and R&B label.
They confirm that Wheein has been receiving offers from different agencies, however, nothing has been decided.
Meanwhile, Wheein debuted as a member of MAMAMOO back in 2014. After seven years with RBW, she left the company following her contract expiration back in June. Despite not renewing her contract with RBW, she will be continuing her promotions with MAMAMOO's group activities until December 2023.
