1.Weeekly - "Holiday Party" (Comeback)

On August 4, Weekly released their fourth mini-album, "Play Game: Holiday," along its title track, "Holiday Party."

The track is an up-tempo pop dance song with a catchy melody and groovy beat that provides intense addictivity.

Due to the immense support and love of domestic and international fans, its music video immediately surpassed 10 million views on the 8th, just four days after its release.

2.Kim Woojin - "Ready Now" (Debut)

Former Stray Kids Woojin is "Ready Now" to create his name as soloist Kim Woojin after dropping his first mini-album, " The moment: 未成年, a minor."

The music video for its title track, "Ready Now" showcased an intense atmosphere, wherein Woojin tried to escape the tight space, flaunting his painful facial expression acting. Kim Woojin also proved his all-rounder image after being listed as a lyricist for all the songs in the album.

3.Sunmi - "YOU CAN'T SIT WITH US" (Comeback)

On the 6th, K-pop icon Sunmi also dropped her new mini-album, "1/6," and its lead single, "YOU CAN'T SIT WITH US."

The music video released negative emotions such as anger and disappointment about a loved one through the character "Zombie," giving the same joy as a horror movie.

4.BLACKPINK - 5th Debut Anniversary Celebration

On August 8, BLACKPINK comprised of Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé celebrated their 5th debut anniversary through a V Live broadcast. Aside from interaction with fans, the quartet also prepared various activities to commemorate their special day through the "4+1" project.

5.ONF - "Popping" (Comeback)

On August 9, ONF's summer pop-up album "POPPING" was released on various music sites at 6 p.m. KST.

Just right after its released, the male group proved its rising popularity by ranking No. 1 on Bugs, a major music site in Korea.

Meanwhile, "Popping" is expected to be a steady summer song that will come to K-pop enthusiast's minds not only this summer but also every summer with the cool voices and energy of ONF – which is as refreshing as drinking soda.

6.THE BOYZ - "THRILL RIDE" (Comeback)

THE BOYZ also joined the full-packed August comebacks with their sixth mini-album, "THRILL-ING," and its main song, "THRILL RIDE," on the 9th.

The title song features addictive sound and dynamic composition with an attractive rhythm and a unique hip-hop genre.

7. Ha Sungwoon - "Strawberry Gum" (Comeback)

Singer Ha Sungwoon's repackage album "Select Shop" has been released as well on the 9th.

"Strawberry Gum," (ft. Don Mills) the title track of the album, depicts the story that allows people to freely cross dreams and reality.

8. Hyo (SNSD) - "Second" (Release)

On August 9, Hyoyeon also dropped her latest single, "Second" (ft. BIBI).

"Second" is a summer dance-pop genre song with a cheerful rhythm and a heavy 808 base. The lyrics contain a message that it is alright if you will give yourself time to breathe without thinking in your busy daily life.

In particular, singer-songwriter BIBI participated in featuring and writing the lyrics – showing the incredible synergy of her along with DJ Hyo.

9. TEN (NCT/WayV/SuperM) - "Paint Me Naked (Release)

The NCT/WayV/SuperM member Ten has returned as a soloist who is a free-spirited youth under the hot summer sun.

On the 10th, SM STATION released Ten's solo song "Paint Me Naked" which is a pop-rock genre song featuring attractive guitar riffs. In the song, the solo artist flaunted not only his dynamic vocal changes but as well as his powerful dance choreography.

10. Hyorin x Dasom (SISTAR) - " Summer or Summer" (Collab Release)

Lastly, "Summer Queen" Hyorin and Dasom not only completed the list but as well as the summer with their collaboration track, "Summer or Summer," on the 10th.

"Summer or Summer" is a dance song with an impressive melody line – showing off Hyorin and Dasom's cool vocals based on an exciting hip-feeling base that will also make you feel good the moment you listen to it.
