TXT Soobin Recalls How Awkward It Was When They Stayed for BTS' Encore Performance
If you are a fan of BTS or TXT (or both!) and have been following them and their performances, then there's a chance you might have seen one of BTS' encore performances from back when they were promoting "Boy With Luv" on domestic music shows.
In one of the encore performances of BTS, their labelmates and juniors, TXT - who were also promoting at the time - stayed on stage with the seven-member group as they celebrate their win. However, TXT reveals that they actually felt really awkward staying there!
TXT Soobin Recalls How Awkward It Was When They Stayed for BTS' Encore Stage
On August 19 KST, all five members of TXT appeared on the latest episode of "MMTG," where the host, Jaejae, presented photos of the members that went viral or became iconic, with the TXT members, Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Hueningkai, and Taehyun sharing the story behind each of them.
During the broadcast, Jaejae brought up a picture of Soobin and Jin bowing to each other during BTS' encore stage on "M! Countdown" back in 2019 - which became viral and was dubbed as the "Bowing Battle" - and Soobin finally revealed what happened during that time.

Jaejae asked Soobin if he remembered the time when he was on stage with BTS after they won first place on a music show, and TXT stayed on stage for their encore performance.
"During that time, Soobin was captured [on video] covering his mouth in extreme happiness when Jin had patted him on his shoulder," Jaejae said.
The members of TXT burst into laughter upon hearing this, and Soobin reveals that he vividly remembers that day.
Soobin then explained what went on during that time, "Before we made our way up on stage, we were actually told by the staff to not come down during the encore performance. The staff told us to stay up there and celebrate with BTS."

He continued and revealed that TXT actually felt so awkward to do that, so they decided to just go down from the stage after saying their congratulations to BTS. However, the staff made them go back up.
"We just stood right at the corner, not knowing what we were gonna do. We were looking at each other and were like, 'What are we going to do now?'," said Soobin.
Soobin then thought that BTS might know what to do, so they looked at them, but it turns out BTS had no idea as well!

"They were also like, 'What are we supposed to do?'," added Soobin.
Taehyun added while laughing how there was a brief awkward moment between them, but the BTS members took care of them after that.
