On August 21, South Korean community forums went into a frenzy when an anonymous user shared a post titled "What happened to Jisoo and Lisa?" The post, which has been viewed more than 88,000 times on one of South Korea's most prominent online forums, has people arguing about an old clip of the two members.
In the video, all four BLACKPINK members are seen. Jennie and Rosé are seen making the top part of a heart with their arms up high, curving towards each other to make the heart shape. Jisoo and Lisa are making the bottom parts of the heart, sticking their arms out to touch each other.

Many were shocked by both Jisoo and Lisa's expressions. While Rosé and Jennie were seen smiling brightly at the back, Jisoo was seen glaring at Lisa as she stuck her hand out, and Lisa appeared sad, stressed, and tired. Many wondered what had happened between the two and if Jisoo had scolded Lisa prior to this clip.
Those who watched the video commented on how scary Jisoo's eyes were, as she appeared genuinely angry. Numerous rumors spurred because of this small clip, with some even saying that Jisoo might be racist towards Lisa, a Thai member.
However, that is far from the truth.

Many Defend BLACKPINK Jisoo Following Clip of Her Glaring at Lisa
After the clip went viral on South Korean online community forums, BLINKs stepped up to defend the idol. The clip was from "BLACKPINK Diaries Ep. 1," which was posted to YouTube on February 16, 2019. However, the specific situation that went viral is from a video of the girls rehearsing for the "BLACKPINK IN YOUR AREA" concert in Bangkok a month prior.
While many are unsure why Lisa had a tired expression when the group was discussing a heart pose for the end of the show, they are still confident that nothing bad happened between Jisoo and Lisa. On the contrary, right before they had to make the heart, Jisoo and Lisa were seen happily joking and dancing with each other.
