Korea's representative girl group TWICE is now ready to dominate the mainstream music industry with their first-ever full-English track! On August 23, JYP Entertainment surprised fans with the news of TWICE's comeback, along with a video containing spoilers.
TWICE to Release its First English Single 'The Feels' Worldwide in October, Unveils 1st Teaser for New MV
On Monday, JYP Entertainment, the agency of TWICE unveiled a surprise spoiler video on TWICE's official SNS channel.
In the teaser clip, the nine-member group's first English single title "The Feels" and its release schedule were announced — which will be on October 1st at midnight EST – to accelerate its global move.
The clip also gave a sneak peek of TWICE's filming site, concept, and images for their new music video. In particular, Tzuyu flaunts her stunning beauty while posing with a hairdryer, while Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, and Chaeyoung gave off a lively vibe like a high-teen musical in a dressing room full of various accessories and props.
It drew cheers from fans by previewing a new visual concept, such as matching berets and long boots with colorful check patterns and showing brightly dyed hair colors.

TWICE Expected to Expand in the International Market with its New English Track, 'The Feels'
Following the announcement, TWICE is expected to take a bigger leap forward on the world stage with their first English single 'The Feels'.
It is truly a wise move for the current "Nation's Girl Group" to become "World's Girl Group" – after previously breaking the U.S. Billboard barriers.
In context, TWICE's popularity in the U.S. is undoubtedly skyrocketing after making it into Billboard's main chart "Billboard 200" at No.6 with its 10th mini-album "Taste of Love" released in Korea on June 11.
The "Alcohol-Free" singers also set the highest record in the album's history and proved its worldwide popularity by recording its own highest ranking of 9th on the "Artist 100" chart, another Billboard main chart.
Starting with the title song "MORE & MORE" from their 9th mini-album released in June last year, they released the title song "I CAN'T STOP ME" from their 2nd full-length album and the English version of "CRY FOR ME" — all aforementioned releases receiving rave reviews both from music critics and K-pop fans.
To name some, major foreign media such as Forbes and MTV are actually focused on TWICE's English songs and releases and dealt with the global movement of "K-pop's representative girl group."
At the time, the members said, "We hope it will be a gift for fans around the world who want to meet TWICE, and we hope you enjoy these songs to your heart's content."
Meanwhile, TWICE's first full English single "The Feels" will be released on October 1st at midnight EST and 1:00 a.m. KST.
