SNSD Hyoyeon Thinks These Artists Will Be the Next SM Directors + Reveals SM Visual Dubbed as 'Second Jun Ji Hyun'
During her recent radio show guesting, SNSD Hyoyeon revealed some stories about her co-SM Entertainment artists, along with her co-SNSD members. In the same broadcast, the "Second" singer revealed the names she believed will be the next SM Directors – and chose SM visual, who resembles the famous actress Jun Ji Hyun.
On the August 25th broadcast of MBC FM4U's "Kim Shin Young Hope Song at Noon," Girls' Generation Hyoyeon and former IZ*ONE Eunbi appeared in the show as solo artists to promote their respective recent comebacks.
In the show, Hyoyeon, who just dropped her comeback single, "Second," conveyed various stories about her agency SM Entertainment and co-artists and talked about the Girls' Generation (SNSD).
Hyoyeon Named Her Personal Candidates of SM Artists Who Could be the Next SM Entertainment Directors
During the broadcast, DJ Kim Shin Young and Hyoyeon mentioned how the female idol regretted selling her SM Entertainment shares.
While on the topic, Hyoyeon, who is always deemed as the next SM director, mentioned the artists that she believes would most likely secure the position first.
The "I Got a Boy" singer narrated, "When I meet Lee Soo Man at a company dinner, I also look around when he goes next to me," adding, "But usually, SHINee's Minho, Super Junior Kyuhyun, and TVXQ's Max Changmin are next to the teacher (Lee Soo Man) already."
When asked if Super Junior Heechul is also a strong candidate, Hyoyeon replied, "He goes back and forth and walks around. Although I think he's the closest to Lee Soo Man."
In particular, among SM artists, BoA and Kangta (H.O.T.) are the only current non-executive directors of SM Entertainment.
Recently, Hyoyeon has been gaining interest in her father-daughter-like relationship with Lee Soo Man, especially on Hyo's "Second" challenge. Thus, the topic of becoming the next SM Director is being examined.

As the conversation went on, DJ Kim Shin Young mentioned that Sooyoung recently talked about her impressions about Girls' Generation members on her personal YouTube channel.
Hyoyeon then said that she saw the video, and as a response, the K-pop dancer also shared her impression to Sooyoung during their trainee days.
She started, "Sooyoung is an SM's visual when she was a trainee. She was also nicknamed 'the second Jun Ji Hyun' because she was pure and pretty."
Hyo added, "But she's the slightly tanned Jun Ji Hyun at that time," giving a smile.

On the 25th, tvN's " You Quiz on the Block," shared a sneak peek of the first appearance of the "Nation's Girl Group" on the national television in four years with complete members.
Due to this, the attention of K-pop enthusiasts is focused if what kind of stories – such as how the members' grow in the past years and new fun interactions – will be unveiled in their highly anticipated reunion.
