A report from February 25 says that the wedding will be held in a private place in Seoul and will only be attended by family, friends, and close family members. The woman who is going to marry the singer-actor is not famous and is four years younger than him.

Hwang Chansung, another member of 2PM, got married in 2021, so Ok will be the second member of the group to get married.

His agency, 51K, had already talked about the news. The agency said in a statement that confirmed the wedding plans, "Ok Taecyeon has promised to spend his life together with someone he has been in a long-term relationship with."

The agency also stressed that the ceremony will be private. It also said, "The wedding will be held privately next spring at a location in Seoul, attended only by both families, relatives, and close acquaintances. As his partner is a non-celebrity, we kindly ask for your understanding that further details will remain undisclosed."

Ok first talked about his relationship in public in 2020, about 12 years after he first became famous. For about six years now, he has been in a public relationship.

Last February, candid photos of the couple taken in Paris, France, were posted online, and they got a lot of attention from the public.

He also made news when he won the Excellence Award in the Miniseries category at the 2025 KBS Drama Awards. He thanked his fiancée during his acceptance speech, which surprised the audience. He said, "Lastly, I would like to sincerely thank my future wife. I love you," which got a lot of attention at the time.

AllKpop's coverage of the announcement showed how important it was to fans who have followed his career since he started with 2PM.

Soompi, on the other hand, wrote about the couple's ten-year relationship and the agency's request for privacy as plans for the ceremony move forward.

In 2008, Ok Taecyeon joined 2PM and then went on to act in TV shows and movies, building a second career. As the wedding date of April 24 gets closer, fans have been posting on social media to wish the star well on his big day.
