Why Did f(x) Krystal and EXO Kai Break Up?
On April 1, 2016, Dispatch announced that EXO member Kai and f(x) Krystal were dating. The two (at the time) labelmates were reportedly caught on a date in February. Dispatch had seen the two at a local lobster restaurant in Gangbuk. Dispatch reported that the two often tried to find time in their busy schedules to date and have even traveled abroad together.
SM Entertainment later confirmed that they two have been dating. They had known each other for ten years at that time and started off as friends before their feelings for one another became romantic.
Sadly, after a year and two months, it was reported that Krystal and Kai had broken up in June 2017. SM Entertainment announced the two had split up and chose to remain as good friends. Sources close to the former couple state the pair split due to their busy schedules. Instead of pursuing their romantic relationship, they both decided to focus on their careers.
Will Krystal Ever Get Back Together With EXO Kai?
Many were distraught at the news of Krystal and Kai's break-up and wondered if the two would ever get back together. Sadly, the chances of the duo making a comeback appear slim.
During an appearance on "Life Bar" in 2018, Krystal stated that she is the type of person who puts everything into making the relationship work while she is dating. However, when she breaks up with someone, he is not the type of person to give second chances. She believes that when she breaks up with someone, it is over and indeed the end of their relationship. Therefore, she does not have the idea of dating them again.
She explains that it is because she is the type of person not to have any regrets.

While Krystal has been linked to numerous guys, such as EXO's Suho and Lee Min Ho, she has never been confirmed to date anyone after Kai. Therefore, it is safe to assume that she is single as of the time of writing.
During a video with her sister Jessica, Krystal revealed that when she was 14 years old, she thought she would be married at the age she is now. However, now that she is 28 years old (Korean age), she is no longer in a rush to get married.
In that same video, Krystal spilled on her ideal type. She stated that she likes men who have many visuals and said Brad Pitt and Tom Hardy are the celebrities that suit her ideal style perfectly. In 2015, during an appearance on the radio show "Kryber x Kim Chang Ryul's Old School Radio," she stated her ideal type was Johnny Depp.
