In the recent interview released by "Webtoon Guide" with the Webtoon artist Jungseo, they talked about the artist's latest work, "I Picked Up the Second Male Lead After the Ending, " as well as its previous works including, "Nevertheless," which has been adapted to a Korean drama.
SNSD Taeyeon Reveals to be the Actual Visual Model for 'Nevertheless' Yu Na Bi
During the Q&A segment, author Jungseo was asked if they had anyone in mind when setting the character's characteristics or personality.
As a response, the "Nevertheless" author replied, "I really don't have anything in mind."
However, they pointed out that the visual appearance of the main female lead Yu Na Bi was created while watching Taeyeon from Girls' Generation (SNSD)!
Furthermore, Jungseo added that the male protagonist Park Jae Eon was inspired by the visual of Kentaro Sakaguchi, a popular Japanese actor.
Although the two personalities were the actual visual models of the characters, its K-drama adaptation with the same name led by JTBC, had cast Han So Hee as Yu Na Bi and Song Kang as Park Jae Eon.
Jungseo added, "They showed great synchronization, but that was the case in the beginning."
As a response, K-pop fans and the supporters of the Webtoon left remarks such as, "It is unexpected," "I can't imagine Taeyeon playing the role in the drama, but Yu Na Bi's image unexpectedly fits her," "Well, their features look alike," and " I think I know what you felt."

SNSD Taeyeon to Support SHINee Key's Much-Awaited Return with 'Hate That...' as a Featuring Artist
On the other hand, the "Weekend" singer Taeyeon will join SHINee Key's highly anticipated return in almost three years as a featuring artist.
On August 30, the co- SM Entertainment artists will showcase their incredible synergy with "Hate That...", an impressive R&B song with sentimental guitar melodies and sophisticated rhythm.
The song contains lyrics about the displeasure of seeing the other person happy and getting along well after a breakup.
In particular, " Vocal Queen" Taeyeon and "Entertainment Male Idol" Key will flaunt their unique harmony and chemistry — which was first seen on tvN's "Amazing Saturday."
Meanwhile, Key's pre-release single 'Hate That…" is set to be dropped on August 30 at 6 p.m. KS, prior to his new solo album in September.
