SHINee Key Solo Comeback: Idol to Return with a New Single, Album
On August 24 KST, media outlets reported that SHINee Key solo comeback, with his new single "Hate That...," will be pre-released on various music sites this coming August 30 at 6:00 p.m. KST.
SHINee Key solo album is also slated for release by the end of September.
This will mark SHINee Key's first comeback as a solo artist after two years and six months since the release of his first full-length repackaged album, "I Wanna Be," back in March 2019. As it has been almost three years since Key's solo comeback, expectations for his new album are on the rise.
In addition, as SHINee Key has proven to be versatile in a wide range, such as variety and fashion, the new image Key will show as a solo singer is highly anticipated.

Meanwhile, the exact date of the release of SHINee Key solo album had not yet been announced.
SHINee Key Wins Best Variety Idol at the 2021 Brand of the Year Awards
Back on August 19, the Korea Consumer Forum (KCF) revealed the winners of this year's Brand of the Year awards, an awards ceremony that conducted surveys on consumer preferences in various commercial brand categories, such as food, cosmetics, fashion, technology, and automobiles, among many others.
Among the many categories up for awards at the Brand of the Year, the categories involving celebrity, entertainment, and culture always garner significant attention as consumers are able to vote for their favorite artists and musicians, actors and actresses, TV programs, entertainers, and many more.

Key on the set of 'DoReMi Market'
This year, the voting for the Brand of the Year awards took place from June 21 until July 4, 2021, through the Korea Consumer Forum's official website.
For the Best Variety Idol category, which names a male and female idol, SHINee's Key won the award alongside Lovelyz' Mijoo.
Key's win doesn't come as a surprise as these days, Key has been actively pursuing appearances on variety shows over the years, and has been a cast member and host on several variety shows, such as "My Little Television," "M! Countdown," "Master Key," and more.
Currently, Key is a fixed cast member of MBC's popular reality show, "I Live Alone," and tvN's "DoReMi Market."
