Miyawaki Sakura Signs Contract with Source Music
It is now believed that Sakura has finally signed an exclusive contract with Source Music, after a period of discussions in connection to her Japanese Agency's copyright claims.

However, on September 23, a representative from HYBE Labels stated that they still can't confirm the contents of Miyawaki Sakura's contract. They also apologized and asked for the fans' understanding.

HYBE Labels Recruits Miyawaki Sakura for a New K-pop Girl Group
A few months ago, the news that Sakura has been called up by HYBE Labels to be a part of a new K-pop girl group has created a lot of headlines.
At that time, HYBE Labels had cultivated a non-committal position and refused to make any statements.
Then last August 27, Sakura has been seen going back to Korea once again since the disbandment of IZ*ONE. She was seen being escorted by BTS security team at the Incheon International Airport. It created more speculations about the exclusive contract.

Source Music X HYBE Labels Recruit Girl Idols for a New K-Pop girl group, along with Miyawaki Sakura
In 2011, Miyawaki Sakura debuted as one of the members of the group HKT48. She also appeared on "Produce 48" by Mnet in 2018 where she finished second in the group IZ*ONE. Then the group ended their entertainment activities as their exclusive contract with CJ ENM ended last April.
Another IZ*ONE former member, Kim Chae Won, is believed to have signed an exclusive contract with Source Music as well. This is believed to be done so that she can debut to the same upcoming girl group together with Miyawaki Sakura.
Also, Heo Yun Jin, a "Produce 48" former contestant, a trainee from Pledis Entertainment, has been recruited to Source Music as well. She is also a in line to be one of the members of the new girl group.

Nevertheless, the news circulating that another IZ*ONE member Kim Min Ju was also being recruited by HYBE labels, is still unclear. The agency is still in an on-going discussion with Kim Min Ju about her joining the new girl group with Source Music.
Also, it has been announced that the new Source Music girl group with Miyawaki Sakura, Heo Yun Jin and Kim Chae Won will have a total number of six members. It is another project from Source Music and it will be handled by Min Hee Jin, a former director from SM Entertainment.
