Through her Instagram story, Kim Sojung (formerly called Sowon) showed off the unchanging friendship of the former GFRIEND members even though they have parted ways after leaving Source Music.
In May this year, the exclusive contracts of the six GFRIEND members - Sowon, Eunha, SinB, Umji, Yerin, and Yuju - with Source Music have ended. This resulted in the female idols departing from the agency and signing with different companies as either singers or actresses.

In the chat room, it can be seen five out of six members of the girl group were exchanging messages as they expressed their love for one another.
In particular, former GFRIEND member Umji said, "Let's give each other some kisses for thirty minutes in our dreams" and "I love you all, really."
Then, SinB and Yuju also expressed their affection to the members by sending emojis and replying "I love you," further creating a warm atmosphere.
Additionally, Eunha stated, "Sleep soundly without worries" and "I wish my unnies' days ahead will be full of happiness."

Former GFRIEND Members' 2021 Activities after Leaving Source Music
Following their departure from Source Music in May, some of the members of GFRIEND already had some activities to complete.
In particular, Yuju has lent her voice for the original soundtracks of two South Korean television series. She sang "Up" for "Bossam: Steal the Fate" and "Stay" (Produced by B1A4 Jinyoung) for "Police University."
In July, former GFRIEND member Yuju collaborated with rapper San E for the male idol's new song "So Silly," which is an emotional track that expresses the delightful feelings before entering a relationship.
Like Yuju, Eunha was also chosen to sing an OST, but for a webtoon. She sang "At the End of Time" for "The Stairway of Time."
