The latest "Girls Planet 999" interim rankings shocked viewers with how the contestants' previous standings suddenly reversed, especially the No. 1! Based on the current Top 18 rankings, Top 9 is comprised of 8 Koreans and 1 Chinese. Fans are now curious if this will change in the finale. 

On October 18, a special live broadcast, "9IRLS NI9TH A9IT" (Girls Night Agit) was held prior to the final broadcast, wherein the Top 18 ranking was revealed.

In the same broadcast, an interim ranking prior to the finale was revealed – which garnered mixed reactions from viewers.

One of the most-loved survival shows, "Girls Planet 999," is nearing its end; Thus, viewers are undoubtedly on the edge of their seats, hoping their favorite trainee will be able to debut.

In particular, the previous rankings from Episode 11 aired on October 15 received mixed reactions, with the number of non-Korean trainees who could possibly debut in the Top 9.

Based on the recent rankings, the ones who made it to the Top 19 are Shen Xiao Ting (No. 1), Kim Da Yeon (No. 2), Sakamoto Mashiro (No. 3), Ezaki Hikaru (No. 4), Choi Yujin (No. 5), Kawaguchi Yurina (No. 6), Nonaka Shana (No. 7) and Fu Yaning (No. 8) and Seo Young Eun (No. 9),

At that time, the lineup was heavily criticized as only three Koreans entered the list, despite the project being a K-pop group.

However, on October 18, the interim rankings turned the table upside down as those who were ranked below the rank 9 suddenly rose to the top – shocking viewers.

Many are shocked how the previous No. 1 Shen Xiao Ting fell to No. 16. Also, Ezaki Hikaru, Yurina and Mashiro who didn't leave the Top 9 before also didn't make it to the higher spots.

Meanwhile, 8 Koreans occupied the possible final lineup, along with Su Rui Qi who is Chinese.

Kim Chae Hyun, who ranked No. 1 this time, specifically drew attention with the increasing interest to her – despite being in the low ranks before.

Avid viewers expressed their divided sentiments, such as, "The rankings changed a lot," "Is this another rigged show" and "It's no surprise."

Foreign fans also commented such as, "Why would you make it a global group when you will only debut Koreans?" expressing their frustrations.
