BLACKPINK Lisa Gets Edited Into 'SG' Music Video and People are Disappointed
On October 22, the music video for DJ Snake's single SG with Ozuna, Megan Thee Stallion, and Lisa of BLACKPINK was released. Many were highly anticipating the release, as DJ Snake had been teasing a release with Lisa on his social media for months prior to the drop. However, many were unhappy with the quality of Lisa's editing in the music video.
While many were happy with Lisa's solo shots, the same could not be said for the group shots. The editors allegedly used CGI to edit Lisa into the group shots. However, people believed they did not do a good job, as it was extremely obvious that Lisa had simply been edited in.

People commented that there was no shadow for Lisa and that her lighting did not match DJ Snake, Megan The Stallion, and Ozuna. It looked as if they simply used a green screen and added her into the frames. In several shots, Lisa was seen standing far away from the other three, making her look awkward and out of place.
Some speculated if the editors were forced to edit Lisa in because YG Entertainment refused to fly Lisa out to film the music video. Previously, YG Entertainment was under fire after Bvlgari's CEO revealed that Lisa was unable to attend the brand's event because her company did not allow her to, citing COVID-19 as the reason.

This has caused a backlash, as her other BLACKPINK members were allowed to attend Paris Fashion Week shows. Rosé also attended the Met Gala in September, and Jennie flew out to Los Angeles on October 24.
Some of the comments concerning Lisa's editing in the video include, "Lisa was so badly edited in. Our girl didn't even have the right lighting," and "Lisa is getting played."
Fans also took to Twitter to release several memes of the situation, with many sharing screenshots of the time Lisa was edited in. People also mentioned that Megan Thee Stallion shared photos from the set, proving that Lisa was not present for the filming.
