CL Drops Music Video for 'Let It'
On October 27, at 1 PM (KST), CL finally unveiled her new music video, "Let It," from latest solo album "ALPHA." It is worth remembering that CL has made plans to release the song's full MV.
"Let It" has a strong message full of confidence and faith. In the music video, CL sang a short excerpt that says, "I trust myself the way it flows."
Meanwhile, on October 26, CL revealed a sentimental teaser photo where she stands with a muted backdrop of the horizon.
The music video was filmed in Oloque in the United States, which boasts the visual beauty of a road where she travels to find herself in the wide fields in the United States.
"Let It" shows 2NE1's theme, and it's a song that drew attention as some of the versions recorded by the actual members were released.
The song has the message, "When you are in a difficult situation, you can trust yourself and let it go."

CL's 'ALPHA' Makes Worldwide Chart Records
CL released her first full-length album, "Alpha," on October 20, and it immediately ranked first on iTunes in 13 regions worldwide.
"ALPHA" topped many countries worldwide on iTunes. It has a total of 11 tracks, namely "Spicy," "Lover Like Me," "Chuck," "Xai," "Let It," "Tie a Cherry," "Paradise," "My Way," "Siren," "Hwa," and " 5 Star."

CL's ""ALPHA" proved its worldwide popularity when it entered the Top 10 of iTunes Top Albums chart in 31 different countries and regions.
Aside from that, "ALPHA" took the second spot on the iTunes worldwide albums chart. It also took the top spot on iTunes Pop Album Chart in the US and ranked No. 3 in the country's Top Albums Chart.
The Story Behind CL's 'Let It'
Prior to the MV release, CL shared that she formerly worked on "Let It" with her fellow former 2NE1 members, Minzy, Bom, and Dara. She revealed that Dara and Bom were able to complete the recording of their lines in "Let It."
However, Minzy has been unable to do so because of her busy schedule, pushing back the plan.
CL stated that she hopes Minzy will be able to record her lines in the song as well.
