tvN's 'Jirisan' Announces Release Date for BTS Jin's Official Soundtrack 'Yours'

On November 3, KST, the production companies of tvN's drama "Jirisan," AStory and Most Contents, have announced the release date for their main official soundtrack, "Yours," which is sung by BTS' oldest member, Jin.

According to the two companies, "Yours" will be available on major music streaming sites on November 7 at 6pm KST. In addition, they will be releasing a special music video for the soundtrack after the sixth episode of "Jirisan" airs on AStory's official Youtube channel at 10:30pm KST the same day.

This particular soundtrack for "Jirisan" garnered a lot of attention, especially as Jin will be leading the song with his soulful voice.

This also marks the first time the BTS member participated in an official soundtrack alone, and the second time he will lend his voice after performing "It's Definitely You" alongside fellow member V for the KBS2 drama "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth," in which V made his acting debut in with a supporting role.

Following the announcement that Jin will be singing "Yours," tvN reportedly received numerous inquiries regarding the soundtracks release date even before the drama began airing.

According to the production companies, "Yours" will be included in the fifth and sixth episodes of "Jirisan."

On Weverse, a global fan community platform, Jin asked fans to show support for the song. "Please show love to 'Jirisan.' I'll have to watch it too," Jin said.

Meanwhile, "Jirisan" is a special project for tvN's 15th anniversary and boasts an overwhelming production scale and a star-studded cast including Jun Ji Hyun, Ju Ji Hoon, and Sung Dong Il making it a highly-anticipated drama of the year. The drama is also directed by Lee Eung Bok and written by award-winning screenwriter Kim Eun Hee, whose works include "Signal" and "Kingdom."

BTS' 'Life Goes On' Music Video Surpasses 400 Million Views on Youtube

In other news, BTS has reached another milestone with their music video for "Life Goes On."

On November 3, at around 11:18 am, KST, "Life Goes On" hit 400 million views on Youtube. This means it took around 11 months and 14 days for the music video to reach this milestone since its release back on November 20, 2020.

Not only that, but this also marks BTS' 15th music video to do so, following "Fire," "Fake Love," "DNA," "MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)," "Dope," "Save Me," "Blood Sweat & Tears," "IDOL," "Boy With Luv," "Not Today," "ON: Kinetic Manifesto Film," "Spring Day," "Dynamite," and "Butter."
