HYBE Announces Original BTS, TXT and ENHYPEN Webcomics and Webnovels
On November 4 at 10am KST, the corporate briefing of HYBE titled the "2021 HYBE Briefing with the Community" was held. During the briefing, HYBE announced their plans to release an original webcomics and webnovels.
According to HYBE, they plan to have their own original stories, which will be a new form of intellectual property (IP) owned by them. With that, they hope to expand their artist-based content to not only include music, but also stories that can be applied to other types of media.
BTS' '7Fates: CHAKHO'
For such, HYBE is teaming up with the original stories platform Wattpad and digital comics platform Webtoon to release a series of webnovels and webcomics based on their artists: BTS, TXT, and ENHYPEN.
With their collaboration, BTS, TXT, and ENHYPEN's webcomics and webnovels are set to be launched on January 14, 2022, with a total of six releases. The three original webcomics will released on Webtoon, while the webnovel versions will be made available on Wattpad.
For BTS, their story "7Fates: CHAKHO" will be released on January 15; ENHYPEN's "Dark Moon" on January 16; and TXT's "The Star Seekers" on January 17.

BTS, TXT and ENHYPEN's Original Storylines
BTS' "7Fates: CHAKHO" is an urban fantasy story that is set in the near future. It is inspired by the tiger hunters "Chakhogapsa" during the Joseon Dynasty in South Korea, and reimagines the traditional Korean tiger tales and the mythological world of beasts. The story will follow seven young men who are bound by fate. After having grown up together while facing a series of trials, they must now become a unified group to unlock more of their destiny.
ENHYPEN's 'Dark Moon: The Blood Altar'
For ENHYPEN's "Dark Moon, the story is a mix of teen romance and urban fantasy. It will be about the meeting, confusion, and chemistry between a pack of werewolves, vampires, and a girl who holds a secret. "Dark Moon" will be a series, and will be kickstarted with the release of "Dark Moon: The Blood Altar."
TXT's 'The Star Seekers'
As for "The Star Seekers" which is based on TXT, the story will follow young men who are part of a pop band and live in a world were magic is a reality, with the group one day discovering that they possess magical abilities that have been dormant. The story will include magic, imaginary creatures, and the world of entertainment.
