Lovelyz Member Mijoo Reportedly in Talks to Sign With Antenna
On November 10 KST, media outlet SpoTV News reported that Lovelyz' main dancer and vocalist Mijoo plans to sign an exclusive contract with Antenna, a label founded by Yoo Hee Yeol and currently houses stars such as the "Nation's MC" Yoo Jae Suk, Sam Kim, Kwon Jin Ah, Jung Seung Hwan, Yun Seok Chul, and more.
Mijoo, whose exclusive contract with Woollim Entertainment is set to expire on November 16, is currently looking for a new label to manage her activities. Reports say that Mijoo and Antenna's discussions are on the positive note, with the label able to support Mijoo as a singer and her other activities such as entertainment programs.
In particular, Yoo Jae Suk, who has closely worked with Mijoo on the programs "The Sixth Sense" and "Hangout With Yoo," had also signed with Antenna back in June following his departure from FNC Entertainment.
With that, attention is drawn as to whether or not Yoo Jae Suk may potentially have an influence on Mijoo's decision to join the label.
Following the reports, an official of Antenna told TV Daily, "It is true that our representatives recently met up with with Lovelyz' Mijoo. However, nothing has been confirmed yet."

Lovelyz' contract expirations will end on November 16, with five out of six of the members deciding to part ways with Woollim Entertainment after being with the label for seven years. According to Woollim Entertainment, only Baby Soul will renew contracts with the label.
Although the members of Lovelyz are moving to different labels, the status of the group - whether or not they will disband - has yet to be announced.
Lovelyz Latest Releases
Meanwhile, Lovelyz last album release was back in September 2020, with their seventh mini-album "Unforgettable."
The album marked the group's first and eventually last comeback after they took a hiatus on group activities for a year and four months to focus on their individual activities.
The album contains a total of six tracks: the title track "Obliviate," "Unforgettable," "Dream in a Dream," "Never, Secret," "Memories," and Worry Dolls. On Gaon's album chart, "Unforgettable" peaked at No. 5.
Prior to "Unforgettable," Lovelyz had released their sixth mini-album "Once Upon a Time" in May 2019, which also contained six tracks in total and led by the single "Beautiful Days."
So far, Lovelyz has released a total of two studio albums, four live albums, a compilation album, two repackages, a single album, and seven mini-albums.
