ELFs, Super Junior fandom, recently came to Eunhyuk's defense against malicious rumors.

In particular, an issue arose when the SuJu main dancer communicated with a 14-year fan through a fan sign event. When the fan shared their conversation online, many alleged the idol's responses as bland and insincere.

On November 10, a video clip of Super Junior Eunhyuk talking to a 14-year fan circulated online and sparked controversy. It started when some expressed disappointment over the idol for allegedly being insincere with his replies to the long-time fan.

However, ELFs, enraged by the rising controversy, immediately defended Eunhyuk.

In particular, the issue started when a fan shared a video of their conversation with Super Junior Eunhyuk at a fan sign event held on November 5.

The  event was to commemorate the release of Super Junior-D&E's first full-length album "COUNTDOWN," and Eunhyuk had two minutes to talk to each fan

While it was supposed to be a fun conversation, some raised their brows due to the idol's response to the fan.

In the clip, fan A asked Eunhyuk, "What kind of fan do you remember me as?"

 "A good fan," Eunhyuk shortly replied.

"It's been 14 years since I went to see the stage, and it's been 6 years since I went to the fan signing event, do you have anything else to say?" A added, hinting at "disappointment" for the short reply from the idol.

Eunhyuk, however, said, "Yes. Then what should I say? Don't make me do that."

The now-deleted clip attracted the attention of K-media and has been spread to various online Korean communities.

Fans commented, "Fan service is a mess," "Isn't it all thanks to fans that Super Junior releases and works so hard?" and more.

Contrary to the reaction of K-netz, many ELFs, especially international fans, were more disappointed to the 14-year fan.

Over Twitter, the fandom criticized the long-time fan for mentioning the years she spent for the idol, as if "manipulating" Eunhyuk's feelings just because the fan spend time, effort, and money for him.

ELFs also expressed frustrations to the fan, saying it is a huge honor to be recognized as a "good fan" for supporting an idol with thousands of fans.

The fandom then reminisced the times that Eunhyuk showed his love and gratefulness towards ELFs, proving how appreciative he is.
