Today, November 12, 2021, is Kep1er member Shen Xiaoting's 23rd birthday! To celebrate her special day, let us take a look at some facts you may or may not know about the soon-to-debut idol!
1. Her MBTI
According to Shen Xiaoting's "Girls Planet 999" profile, her MBTI is ISFJ. This is known as "The Defender" or "The Protector." People with this MBTI have introverted, sensing, feeling, and judging characteristics. ISFJ's are known for their warm-hearted personalities and are incredibly responsible and reserved. ISFJ's are also known to be selfless.
2. Her alma mater
Shen Xiaoting graduated college from the Sichuan Conservatory of Music University. She graduated from the Performance Department. It is one of China's most well-known music institutions, and several students from the university have gone to have flourishing careers as actors, singers, violinists, and more.
3. Her first survival show
While she may have achieved international fame as a contestant on Mnet's survival show "GIrls Planet 999," it is not her first survival show. In 2020, Shen Xiaoting competed in the Chinese survival show "Produce Camp 2020." Tencent produced the show, and in the program, she represented her company, TOP CLASS Entertainment.
At the start of the season, she ranked 64th out of 101 in episode two. However, by episode three, she dropped to 87th place. In episode four, she was eliminated from the show with a final rank of 80th place. This made her unable to debut with the show's project group, BonBon Girls 303.
4. Ballroom Dance
Shen Xiaoting's dance specialty is ballroom dancing. At the age of 14, Shen Xiaoting competed at the 2013 CBDF China Cup Tour Finals for ballroom dancing with her partner, Feng Yuhang, in the Under 16s category. At the end of the competition, she and her partner won fourth place. Shen Xiaoting has also competed in ballroom dance competitions in the United Kingdom.
5. The animal she looks like
In Shen Xiaoting's "Girls Planet 999" profile, she claims that the animal she thinks she looks like is a Shetland Sheepdog! She believes she represents this animal because they are both loyal, intelligent, reliable, hardworking, and are able to help others. Shen Xiaoting also added that they both could compete in beauty pageants. To add, Shen Xiaoting's favorite animals are puppies!
6. Shen Xiaotings' fandom names
Did you know that Shen Xiaoting has not one, not two, but three fandom names? Her Chinese fandom name is Tingfen (婷粉), while her Korean fandom name is Haessaldan (햇살단). For international fans, the fandom's name is Grace. Shen Xiaoting also has her own fandom color, which is Starry Purple (CC99FF).
7. Her hobbies
According to her "Girls Planet 999" profile, Shen Xiaoting's hobbies are watching movies and dramas, photography, shopping, cooking, playing games, reading, and visiting restaurants. She also likes to sleep in and watch TV while lying on the sofa. Her ultimate specialty is dance.
8. Her favorite and least foods
Shen Xiaoting's favorite foods are ramen, her mother's stir-fried beef, and any chewy and soft food. However, she hates meat fat, salad, and perilla leaf.
