Former 'Girls Planet 999' Contestant Fu Yaning Shares Her Wishes for Kep1er Shen Xiaoting
On November 10, a media interview conducted by 小婉littlebowl with former "Girls Planet 999" contestant Fu Yaning was released. There, the Chinese singer shared her wishes for Shen Xiaoting and why she has these wishes for the soon-to-debut idol.
During the interview, the interviewer recounted how while Shen Xiaoting was giving her speech after being announced as a member of Kep1er, she asked all the contestants who did not make the debut line-up that they must be happy. The camera then pans to Fu Yaning, who is seen telling Shen Xiaoting, "May you be happy too." Next, the interviewer asks Fu Yaning if she remembers this time.

Fu Yaning responds that she does. She reveals that she said these words because among the Chinese contestants, she was the only one from them to debut, and she debuted at the last rank. Fu Yaning added, "She is all alone in a foreign country. She is carrying with her a lot of heavy pressure in her debut."
Fu Yaning reveals that she wishes Shen Xiaoting would be happy and fortunate in Korea and that she hopes that all is well for Shen Xiaoting and she will take care of herself. The C-Group contestants will all be returning to China except for her.

Though Shen Xiaoting's fellow Chinese contestants will be far from her physically, Fu Yaning hopes that in the future, if she ever feels any sadness or troubles, she can also contact C-Group to talk to and confide in. Fu Yaning states that they will all be her support, saying, "After all, we are all C-Group."

Who is Fu Yaning?
Fu Yaning is a Chinese soloist signed under Gramarie Entertainment. She was first introduced to the public as an independent trainee on the Chinese survival show "Youth With You 2." Fu Yaning ranked in 35th and was eliminated in episode 16.
Following her time on "Youth With You 2," Fu Yaning debuted as a soloist in 2020 under her English name Jessi Fu and Yenny. Fu Yaning's first release was the single album "I'm Done."

Fu Yaning competed on the Mnet survival show "Girls Planet 999" 2021. Fu Yaning ranked 13th in the finale, which means she did not make the cut-off to debut with Kep1er. Fu Yaning's final rank was C02. She was the second-highest-ranking Chinese trainee on the show.
