MAMAMOO Hwasa Tops Music Charts With 'I'm a Light'
MAMAMOO member and soloist Hwasa launched her comeback on KBS 2TV's "Music Bank" on November 26, and proceeded to promote on MBC's "Show! Music Core" and SBS' "Inkigayo." She revealed the comeback stage of "I'm a Light," title song of her second single album, "Guilty Pleasure."
Hwasa exuded a different charm for every stage with her stage costumes that feature different colors like purple, black and red. Like her new hit song, MAMAMOO Hwasa draws more attention with an intense yet passionate stage performance that features her theme "pleasant poison."
In particular, Hwasa achieved perfect synchronization with the dancers. Their movements were a combination of tight and soft. Moreover, she doubled her hip charm with choreographies like "I'm Cool" and "Whistle Dance."

Hwasa's "I'm a Light" also topped the daily charts of QQ Music, China's largest music platform, last November 25. It was also named in the Top 10 iTunes Top Song Charts in approximately 19 countries and regions all over the world.
Also the b-side song "FOMO," entered the Top 10 iTunes Top Song Charts in around 20 countries and regions worldwide, which proves Hwasa's powerful sound source power.

Furthermore, the "I'm a Light" challenge is now gaining popularity with TikTok users all over the world by just word of mouth. The "I'm a Light" challenge video which was posted on MAMAMOO's official TikTok account has now exceeded 1.7 million views, which confirms Hwasa's global presence.
Moreover, Hwasa's solo comeback is the first after a year and five months since her first mini album "Maria," which was released in June last year. The latest comeback song, "I'm a Light" is the first song that Hwasa worked on together with a foreign producer, Hwasa also participated in writing the lyrics to digest her own personality into the song.
Hwasa is actively making comeback activities through various entertainment programs and social media contents, including music shows.
