BTS Named as Apple's Most Streamed Artist with 'Dynamite'

Charts all over the world highlight another remarkable year in music, celebrating artists' achievements and providing truly unique and global perspective on the biggest music of 2021.

This year was one of the most memorable years for K-Pop for its popularity and influence spread all over the globe.

The Year-Charts revealed that BTS' "Dynamite" was the most-streamed song on Apple Music in 2021. Aside from that, BTS' "Butter" also made it on the chart ranking No. 21.

The chart compiled the most-streamed songs all over the world on Apple Music beginning from October 16, 2020to October 15, 2021.

Furthermore, BTS' "Dynamite" was No. 4 on the "Most-Read" lyrics chart, while "Butter" came on its 13th spot.

BTS Records a 'Reverse Run' on the Billboard Chart as 'Map of the Soul: 7' Re-Enters Main Album Chart

BTS recorded its "reverse run" on the billboard. Their collaboration song with Coldplay, "My Universe," ranked 29th on the Billboard Main single chart "Hot 100," it jumped eight places from the past week.

"My Universe" maintained the top position for nine weeks in a row since it entered the "Hot 100" chart on October 9.

Meanwhile, BTS topped the "Digital Song Sales" chart with "My Universe" and also the "Hot 100" chart. The 4th full-length album "Map of the Soul: 7" re-entered the Billboard main album chart at No. 187.

Furthermore, "My Universe" ranked 12th, "Butter" at 20th, "Dynamite" at 38th, and "Permission to Dance" at 53rd on the Billboard Global (excluding the US) chart.

Then, on the Billboard Global 200, "My Universe" placed at the 20th, "Butter" at 34th, "Dynamite" at 55th, and "Permission to Dance" at 86th spot.

Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums by computing the total number of streaming and digital sound source downloads and the sales of physical albums.

Interest in the album has been growing again amidst BTS' "Permission To Dance on Stage - L.A." concert, which has been held in Los Angeles since November 27.

BTS started the concerts with their performances of "ON," the title song "Map of the Soul: 7" along with its other song, "Black Swan" from the same album."

Map of the Soul: 7" was released in February last year, it is BTS' 4th full-length album. It was released after "Map of the Soul: Persona." The "Map of the Soul" expresses the boys' process of finding their complete selves.

BTS commemorated their biggest year as they dominated the Billboard charts. Aside from that, they won three awards, along with the "Artist of the Year" award, during the American Music Awards.

With this, BTS became the first and only Asian act to take home the "Artist of the Year," and they set an impressive milestone in the history of the K-Pop industry.

After the first two concerts from November 27 and 28, BTS will continue their "Permission to Dance on Stage - L.A." concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, USA on December 1 and 2.
