This aespa x ENHYPEN crumb made MYs and ENGENEs happy! While fans celebrate the wins of their favorite groups at the Asia Artist Awards 2021, some were entertained by the hilarious interaction between aespa and ENHYPEN. 

On December 2, a star-studded lineup of K-pop acts graced this year's Asia Artist Awards (AAA 2021), held offline at the KBS Arena Hall and was led by Super Junior Leeteuk and IVE Wonyoung.

During the event, aside from the announcement of winners, K-pop fans also rejoiced at the artists' interactions on stage, and one of these that stood out the most was the hilarious blunder of aespa Winter... which became more hilarious due to co-member NingNing and ENHYPEN Sunoo's reaction.

aespa Winter Accidentally Takes ENHYPEN's 'Rookie of the Year' Trophy, and Sunoo is Ready to 'Fight' for It

aespa and ENHYPEN's interaction happened when they were both announced as winners for "Rookie of The Year" trophies. During their introduction, aespa walked ahead of ENHYPEN, and Winter immediately took one of the two trophies without checking if it was for aespa.

When the idol realized she grabbed the wrong one, Winter immediately changed it to theirs and walked as if nothing happened.

While other viewers let that pass normally, MYs (aespa fandom) and ENGENEs (ENHYPEN fandom) who were watching their favorites intently couldn't help but laugh at the moment, and this was due to the side reactions of Sunoo and NingNing.

When Winter took ENHYPEN's trophy and put it back once she realized her mistake, Sunoo actually saw it all and he was willing to "fight" for what was theirs.

Thus, when the male rookie grabbed their almost stolen trophy, he looked at the camera with a funny reaction, apparently expressing his relief.

But NingNing's savageness immediately took over the moment.

While her co-member Winter experienced "embarrassment" in front of the male group, her being the "Meme Queen" was seemingly most excited to pose in front of the camera... rather than taking their award.

As a result, the two groups' interaction sparked laughter among their respective fandoms. Soon enough, the moment was shared through various social media platforms, along with congratulatory messages to ENHYPEN and aespa on their wins.

Meanwhile, aespa and ENHYPEN proved they are fourth-generation leaders after taking home the trophy for "Rookie of the Year" (ROTY).

Along with this, the two rookie groups also got the "U+ Idol Live Popularity" awards for the male and female category, respectively.

Furthermore, the "Next Level" singers also bagged the "Hot Trend Award" and their first Daesang, "Stage of the Year" award.
