When Did Girl's Day Minah Start Dating Son Heung Min?
Back in July 2014, the Korean media outlet The Fact (formerly known as Sports Seoul) released an exclusive report where they stated that Girl's Day member Minah and Son Heung Min are dating.
The Fact said that they spotted the two celebrities on evening dates on July 16 and 17 despite their busy schedules. They added that they would enjoy dates around different locations including the Han River Park and Gangnam Station.

During their dates, Minah and Son Heung Min were cautious not to be too physically affectionate when there are people around but held hands and linked arms when they were alone. On one of their dates, the soccer player is said to have prepared a special event on July 17 wherein he surprised the female idol with a bouquet and confess his feelings for her ahead of his training on July 19.
Alongside these pieces of information, The Fact shared several photos of Girl's Day Minah and Son Heung Min on an evening date.
Following the report, Girl's Day's agency Dream T Entertainment told the media outlet over the phone that the two were fans of one another before and began dating because of their interest in each other. They continued that the two are just in the dating phase and are being careful and aware of their relationship, especially now that the news is out.

Dream T Entertainment also said that the two established a friendship and learned about being fans of each other through SNS. They concluded that Minah and Son Heung Min want their relationship to be something where they both support and help each other.
According to OSEN, another Korean media outlet, a source from Dream T Entertainment told them that the two only met about two times out of curiosity.
Meanwhile, sources close to Son Heung Min were more careful about confirming his dating news with Girl's Day member Minah. The soccer player's father, Son Yong Jung, told The Fact that it was his first time hearing about their relationship.
Why Did Girl's Day Minah and Son Heung Min Break Up?
In October 2014, just three months after they were confirmed to be in a relationship, Girl's Day Minah and Son Heung Min were reported to have broken up.
According to a report released by OSEN and Xportsnews, the Girl's Day member said through her company, "At the time the dating rumors surfaced, we were in the stage of growing interest, however, because of too much interest from the people around us and our busy schedules, we stopped contacting each other."

Minah added that as a fan of the soccer player, she will continue to wish him great matches, and as for her, she will continue to focus on her individual and group activities.
According to an exclusive report by Ilgan Sports, Minah and Son Heung Min broke up due to the difficulties of a long-distance relationship as the female idol is promoting in Korea while the athlete is in Germany.
