Girls' Generation-Oh!GG Teasers for 'SMCU Express' Unveiled and People are Loving It
On December 15, SM Entertainment unveiled the teaser photos for Girls' Generation's sub-unit Oh!GG. The company released a group teaser and individual teasers for each member.
Specifically, the company first released the group teaser, then two individual teasers of each member. They first released teasers for Yoona...
... then Hyoyeon...
... then Taeyeon...
... followed by Sunny...
... then finally Yuri!
Following the release of the teaser photos, many internet users and SONEs (Girls' Generation fans) took to social media and online community forums to praise the members. Many commented how it had been a long time since Oh!GG was seen together, and they have not had any sub-unit activities since their debut in 2018.

Some of the comments concerning Oh!GG's teasers include, "I have been waiting for them for so long," I cannot believe GG is finally coming back," "They are crazy. The members are so beautiful!" "They are killing me," "This is epic," and "They are all so gorgeous."
Oh!GG's inclusion in the "2021 Winter SMTOWN : SMCU EXPRESS" will mark their first release as a sub-unit in three years. For those unaware, SM Entertainment will be launching a project dubbed "SMTOWN 2022: SMCU EXPRESS." On top of an online concert featuring artists under the company, artists under SM Entertainment will also come together to release songs under the winter album, "2021 Winter SMTOWN : SMCU EXPRESS."
The girl group will also perform in the online concert on January 1 titled "SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU EXPRESS @ KWANGYA." Oh!GG, alongside other SM Entertainment artists, will come together in the fictional universe Kwangya to perform at the SMCU Express Station.

Girls' Generation-Oh!GG's Last Musical Release
Oh!GG's last musical release was their first one. On September 5, SM Entertainment debuted Girls' Generation-Oh!GG, a sub-unit of Girls' Generation composed of members still signed to the label. They debuted with the single "Lil Touch" and the b-sidetrack "Fermata." Instrumentals of the song were also released.
