Red Velvet Joy Proves She Totally Owns Red Dresses Once More During 2021 KBS Gayo Daechukje
The 2021 KBS Gayo Daechukje officially took place on December 17 with many top K-pop groups, such as Red Velvet, TXT, Stray Kids, ITZY, aespa, ENHYPEN, SEVENTEEN, IVE, STAYC and more. Although many idols appeared at the year-end music festival, when it comes to red dresses and being sexy dynamite, no one can beat Joy and her visual explosion!
Despite being one of the oldest groups attending the KBS Gayo Daechukje, Red Velvet brightened up the stage with their luxurious and powerful concept. After a lengthy period of not performing at year-end events, the five members of Red Velvet flawlessly performed "Psycho" and "Queendom."
Red Velvet's performance received praise for being professional and containing their distinct and unmistakable color.

Though all the members received praise for their performance, it was member Joy who caused a fever amongst viewers. Joy immediately caught people's eyes thanks to her sexy and mature visuals. The idol wore a tight red mini-dress during the performance and styled her long black hair in simple waves.
Joy's outfit hugged her figure perfectly, showing off her stunning physique. It also highlighted the idol's long legs, making her look like a model. Overall, Joy's styling perfectly matched the soft and attractive choreography Red Velvet is known for.
People noted that Joy had gained weight, but people were not upset. Instead, people thought it only added to her curvy figure and added to her charm. As a result, Joy became a hot topic on social media and South Korean online community forums for her enchanting aura and how well she pulls of red dresses.

This is not the first time Joy went viral for a red dress. Back in 2017, when Red Velvet attended the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMAs) in Hong Kong, Joy went viral for wearing a red, sequined sleeveless mini-dress. After photos of Joy at the event were released, Joy suddenly went viral as the "girl in the red dress."
