EXO Baekhyun Fulfills His Promise to EXO-Ls When the First Snow Falls in South Korea
On Dec. 18, EXO member Baekhyun updated his Instagram account with new reels. The 18-second clip shows the male idol writing a word on snow while singing.
In particular, Baekhyun wrote "ERI" and draw a heart symbol under it. While doing so, he is singing a verse from EXO's popular winter song "First Snow." At the end of the video, he can be heard exclaiming, "Oh, it's cold!"

Every year, the EXO member would write "ERI" or "EXO-L" on snow every time the first snow falls in South Korea. And so, it has become a tradition among fans. It's the same with Sehun holding a livestream during the first snowfall in the country.

As usual, EXO-Ls expressed their love for EXO Baekhyun for his thoughtful gesture and for keeping his promise to them. Many fans shared the Instagram reels on Twitter as they show their admiration for the idol.
As of writing, the video has gained 2.7 million views on Instagram along with over 247,000 likes and almost 49,000 comments.

Ever since Baekhyun uploaded the Instagram reels, his name was trending on Twitter in 23 countries across the globe until Dec. 19, including the United States, Singapore, Peru, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, Algeria, the Philippines and more. "Baekhyun" was also trending worldwide on Dec. 19 with more than 157,000 tweets.

Meanwhile, on the same day he made the Instagram reels, EXO Baekhyun made a post on Twitter. His tweet reads, "That's all for today!! ... Guys, calm down, calm down... Hurry and sleep, hush, hush!! Now, go sleep!! Let's go to bed now!! ^^ Baekhyunnie on the day of the first snow~~ is going to sleep!"
SM Entertainment Re-Uploads EXO Baekhyun's Videos to YouTube
In other news, EXO Baekhyun's YouTube videos, which SM Entertainment previously deleted, have been re-uploaded recently.
On Nov. 18, SM Entertainment removed the videos on Baekhyun's YouTube channel "Kyoongtube" that were shared following his military enlistment in May. The company explained that they will halt the upload of new content until the EXO member's military discharge.
The agency continued that they decided to omit the videos to prevent any unexpected misunderstandings as he is currently serving in the military

According to Korean military law, soldiers with ongoing service are now allowed to have an additional job or engage in profit-making activities.
One month later, SM Entertainment said that they will upload videos of EXO Baekhyun recorded prior to his military enlistment bit by bit.
On Dec. 17, a new "Kyoongtube" video was shared and it features Baekhyun reading a book. The almost 13-minute video now has more than 244,000 views. More content was uploaded afterward.
Meanwhile, EXO Baekhyun is currently serving as a public service worker. He did not qualify for active service because of his hypothyroidism.
