Jeongyeon to Sit Out of TWICE's Seoul Concerts

On December 20, TWICE's management agency, JYP Entertainment, issued an official statement about the girl group member Jeongyeon's health status. The statement also announced that the TWICE member will not be able to attend the group's Seoul concerts.

This decision has been made after Jeongyeon discussed her health concerns with the management and fellow TWICE members.

JYPE's statement is as follows:

Hello, this is JYPE.

We would like to inform you that TWICE member Jeongyeon is unable to attend the TWICE 4TH World Tour 'III' Seoul performance, which will be held for two days on 12/25 and 26, due to health reasons after consulting with herself and the members.

We are sorry to inform the fans who have been waiting for the performance for a long time.

We will do our best as an agency so that our artists can promote healthily. If you wish to cancel the ticket purchased according to this guide, please contact the Yes24 Performance Customer Center [1544-6399], and we will inform you that a 100% refund is possible without a cancellation fee. Details regarding refunds can also be found on the website.

Thank you for your anticipation and support for TWICE 4th World Tour 'III', and we apologize for bringing this news once again."

Upon the release of the announcement, fans have expressed their feelings to Twitter, saying that it was alright and Jeongyeon should take care of her health. Moreover, they also wished that the K-Pop idol would be back in tip-top shape in time for the US concerts. 

TWICE's '4TH WORLD TOUR III' Sells Out in All Venues

TWICE's upcoming "4th World Tour III" sold out all its seven concert venues at the fastest pace. The group was initially set to have five concert venues, but two were added after the five cities immediately sold out.

The additional venues are The Forum in Los Angeles on February 15 and UBS Arena in New York on February 27. Instantly, tickets for the two venues also sold out in just five days.

TWICE's forthcoming concert in the United States proves the group's status as the "K-pop representative girl group," and will be held in Los Angeles on February 15 to 16, Oakland on February 18, Fort Worth on February 22, Atlanta on February 24, and New York on February 26 to 27.

TWICE will kick off their world tour on December 25 and 26 at KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Stadium) in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

Not only in the United States, where all seats for 7 concerts in 5 cities are sold out, but they will add more concert venues in the future, and they plan to meet fans from all over the world.
