2021 MBC Gayo Daejejeon Announces Upcoming Iconic Collaboration Stages
The year-end music festival hosted by major broadcasting station MBC, Gayo Daejejeon, is set to take place just a few hours before the New Year holiday on December 31.
For this year's MBC Gayo Daejejeon, the music festival announced that they have prepared several special stages to match their theme of "TOGETHER" as a gift to viewers for the last night of 2021.

According to MBC, numerous of South Korea's hottest K-Pop groups and solo artists will be performing together for what is already going to be an iconic collaboration stage.
First, the yearly event will be kicked-off with a special opening stage by Gayo Daejejeon hosts Girls' Generation's YoonA and 2PM's Junho, who will show an amazing chemistry between two legendary second-generation K-Pop idols.
The two will be presenting a stage that will encompass all generations, and many are already looking to what kind of performance this combination of artists will bring.

Five of some of the top visuals in the K-Pop industry will also be banding together to present a performance of f(x)'s "Rum Pum Pum" that is sure to be a visual bomb with rookie girl group IVE's Ahn Yujin and Jang Wonyoung, (G)I-DLE's Miyeon, ITZY's Yeji, and former IZ*ONE member Kim Minju's collaboration stage.
With 2022 being the Year of the Tiger, it is only fitting that we welcome the year with something related to a tiger. This year, reports are saying that a cover of supergroup SuperM's song, "Tiger Inside," will be performed as a collaboration by idols born in the year 1998 - the Year of the Tiger.
With that, a collaboration stage between ASTRO's Moonbin, Stray Kids' Lee Know, THE BOYZ Juyeon and Q, PENTAGON's Kino, ONEUS' Hwanwoong, and AB6IX's Donghyun will be presented.
2021 MBC Gayo Daejejeon's Collaboration Stages to Transcend Genres and Generations
In particular, this year's Gayo Daejejeon will not only showcase the hottest K-Pop idols today, but will also present stages that will transcend genres and generations.
Yang Hee Eun, who is the godmother of folk sngs, will be taking center stage with MAMAMOO's Solar, Red Velvet's Wendy, and Oh My Girl's Hyojung. She will also be performing alongside ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo, who will be giving a piano performance.

Korean rock band YB and NCT will also show their powerful singing skills together, as well as Kim Yeon Ja, Sunwoo JungA, 10CM, and MAMAMOO's Hwasa.
Lastly, to represent the MZ generation, Celeb Five and STAYC will also present a collaboration stage.
Aside from the collaboration stages, each of the K-Pop groups and solo artists will perform their own stage at the 2021 MBC Gayo Daejejeon.
Meanwhile, this year's Gayo Daejejeon will be broadcasted on December 31 at 8:40pm KST.
