On December 29, a Korean media outlet highlighted how Red Velvet Wendy's popularity among K-pop fans is on the rise these days. Aside from being listed as one of the beautiful female idols, Wendy also became the center of attention for her humble and kind personality.
Red Velvet Wendy Becomes a Hot Topic for Endless Good Stories About Her
On December 27, an article with the title, "Idols Who Have Become the Talk of the Town Recently," was posted on famous Korean forums such as Fomos and FM Korea.
In the article, endless good stories featuring Red Velvet Wendy were revealed, which also show behind-the-scenes photos of the "Queendom" singer with other idols and entertainment staff.
One of the reasons Wendy was praised was for being famous for taking care of people around her. One scenario was when she surprised LABOUM with a cake in commemoration of their comeback, "BLOSSOM" in November.
The article also emphasized that aside from fellow idols, Wendy also spoils staff and employees she works with.
SBS's "Wendy's Youngstreet" staff and even her nail artists gave testimonies through their Instagram posts about how Wendy would give them gifts, which vary from albums that contain handwritten letters to coffee, desserts, gimbap, and hats.

A staff who received coffee beans from the idol also attested to Wendy's considerate and warm heart.
"Red Velvet Wendy, who was meant to be on the radio, remembered what I said (I) liked to drink coffee when I went camping and bought me coffee beans on the broadcast."
As a result, the posts amassed more than 150k views and received thousands of hearts as well.
Wendy's fans then responded to the post and commented, "Wendy is really famous for her good personality," and, "Wendy seems to be really nice."
"Wendy always distributes food to the staff when watching Red Velvet reality programs, and those who marry Seungwan (Wendy) should pay more taxes," another fan wrote.

Despite being shorter compared to her Red Velvet members, fans discussed how her size and overall vibe match her well as she makes good chemistry with other idols.
