Despite the unspeakable past, second-gen K-pop fans were delighted to see T-ara's reunion after four years with their first independent album, "Re: T-ara."

To recall, T-ara was heavily criticized in 2012 for the reason former member Hwayoung departed from the group due to being bullied by co-members. As the allegations circulated, evidence surfaced, and T-ara was "canceled" by the industry and fans.

Around that time, the group was at the peak of their career, but with the sudden controversy, a lot of fans turned their back on T-ara.

In 2017, the truth came out that Hwayoung wasn't bullied, and testimonies then exposed her as the one who "bullied" T-ara along with her twin sister, Hyoyoung.

Hwayoung admitted to this and faced huge backlash for deceiving fans.
