ITZY Yuna, Ryujin Draw Discussion on Difference Between Introverts & Extroverts When Buying Gifts: Which Side Do You Agree?
ITZY Yuna and Ryujin attracted attention following the topic of how they give birthday gifts based on their respective MBTI types.
People's opinions were clearly divided on how to give birthday gifts to others. In context, a debate started on an online community when a netter posted an article titled "I am Ryujin Vs. Yuna on a birthday."

In the post, the author asked for opinions, saying that the perception of how to give birthday gifts by Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) was different.
As an example, the author cited Ryujin and Yuna of the girl group ITZY. In the video, Ryujin who confessed that she's an INTJ, an introverted personality type opted "to buy what the other person wants."
Ryujin explained, "When I bought a gift, I'm not confident to see the other person pretending to like it (present) when they don't like it." In other words, it is better for the receiver to tell the sender what they want to receive for their birthday.

On the other hand, in the case of Yuna, who was assumed to be an ENFP represent extroverts and expressed that it is better to give a gift the sender personally chose.
"Ryujin kept asking me about the gift I wanted to receive. I was curious about what kind of gift she would choose while thinking of me," Yuna explained. "Isn't it more meaningful to give gifts like that?" she added.
In relation to Yuna's perception, it is more special when the person who gives the birthday gift likes to choose randomly thinking about what the recipient would like.

First of all, Internet users who said they felt the same way as Ryujin said, "There are a lot of gifts that I received and don't use. They responded by saying, "It's better to give what you need," "It's so sad to see the other person receiving an unwanted item," and "This is more comfortable than contemplating."
On the other hand, those who agreed with Yuna's thoughts commented, "Thinking about what the other person wants is also a process of giving gifts," "Isn't it a real gift when the person who received the surprise gift is really touched?"
