PSY' 'Gangnam Style' Surpasses 4 Billion Views on YouTube
PSY's mega-hit "Gangnam Style" music video has surpassed 4.3 billion views on Youtube.
On January 7, P-Nation, PSY's entertainment agency, announced that "Gangnam Style" recorded 4.3 billion views as of January 6. Furthermore, the song also surpassed two billion views for the first time among other music videos on YouTube.
"Gangnam Style" is the title song of Psy's sixth regular album, which was released in July 2012. Aside from that. PSY also became the first Korean singer to reach the second spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and stayed on it for seven weeks.
Moreover, "Gangnam Style" is an iconic song in 2012, upon its release, it immediately became a trend worldwide, and all music fans all over the world listened and danced to the song. It is also the hit that made the K-pop industry popular once again.

PSY is set to make a comeback early this year!
The singer and CEO of P Nation aired a special broadcast of video footage from his "All Night Stand 2019" concert last December 29, 2021. He also explained during the year-end special that he didn't release an album in 2021 for he was not able to perform on the stage.
Regarding his comeback, PSY said, "Regardless of the situation, I'll release my ninth album next year. It's been two years since we felt what our daily life used to be like. I hope next year we can get back what we lost these past two years."
His last release was "I Luv It" from his 8th studio album "4X2=8" in May 2017.

PSY is world widely popular for his hit singles, "Gangnam Style," "Gentleman," "New Face," "Daddy" and he also collaborated with different K-Pop artists like MOMOLAND in their song "Ready or Not" in 2020. Aside from that, he made a special appearance on JYP and Rain's Collaboration song "Switch To Me" music video.
He is also known as the "King of Concerts," a lot of fans are waiting for the day that PSY returns to the concert stage once again.
PSY's Fame Since the Release of Gangnam Style
PSY's mega-hit "Gangnam Style" is to turn 10 years old this coming July. Because of this, K-pop enthusiasts worldwide are expecting that the song will hit five billion views on or before the day of its anniversary comes.
The worldwide iconic song was also the featured song on YouTube's "YouTube Rewind Style 2012," where PSY joined a lot of famous YouTubers in filming the video, which was released in December 2012.
As of now, the music video has a total of 4,300,858,392 views and more than 23 million likes.
