VIVIZ Set To Debut in February
VIVIZ is a group formed by former GFriend members SinB, Eunha, and Umji under their new management agency, BPM Entertainment.
Even after departing from their debut agency Source Music, SinB, Eunha, and Umji decided to continue promoting as K-Pop idols. The trio will be re-debuting in February as the girl group, VIVIZ.
VIVIZ Formed After GFriend's Disbandment
The news of the sudden disbandment of girl group GFriend in May 2021 shocked the entertainment industry and the fans. Until the day when the news of the disbandment was announced, the members communicated with their fans through VLIVE and did not mention anything related to the disbandment.
However, in October 2021, the news that SinB, Umji, and Eunha will re-debut as a trio named VIVIZ, and many BUDDYs (GFriend's fandom name) are looking forward to it.
VIVIZ is composed of Eunha, SinB, and Umji, who were members of GFRIEND. The group name is an abbreviation of "VIVId dayZ" and is a compound word of "VIVID," meaning clear and intense. Meanwhile, the Z came from the word "days."

It is said that it contains the meaning of becoming an artist who always proudly expresses her color in the world.
The official fandom name has not been confirmed yet, so it may change in the future, but the members still say "BUDDYs" when calling their fans, and VIVIZ's VI in Roman numerals refers to 6, the number of GFriend members in Roman numerals.
The sudden disbandment of GFRIEND surprised the BUDDYs.
Although VIVIZ is not a six-member group, it is still meaningful that three of the former members of GFriend got together to form a new girl group.
Moreover, some fans are also wishing to see other members Sowon, Yerin, and Yuju during the VIVIZ concert in the future to see the performance of GFriend once again.
VIVIZ Members' Career With GFriend
GFRIEND, which consisted of Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, Sinb, and Umji, debuted in 2015. They released hit songs such as "From Today We're Running Through Time," "If You Listen," and "Summer Summer Sun." The girls receive lots of love from BUDDYs every time they make their comeback.
Then, in May 2021, the group ended its seven-year contract with Source Music Entertainment and the members decided not to renew their contracts with the agency.

Afterward, Eunha, Sinb, and Umji signed an exclusive contract with BPM Entertainment, heralding a new start as a three-member K-Pop group, VIVIZ. Yuju has announced that she will be joining Kang Daniel's agency, KONNECT Entertainment. Sowon carried on her career as an actress, signed an exclusive contract with IOK, and changed her name to Kim So-Jung. Yerin signed an exclusive contract with Sublime Artist Agency and recently announced that she will appear in a web drama.
