WINNER might make a full group comeback this 2022 as the two members have officially been discharged from the military.

WINNER Mentions a Comeback with All 4 Members during a Recent V Live Broadcast

On Jan. 17, WINNER communicated with fans through Naver's V Live for the first time as a full group. Kim Jinwoo and Lee Seunghoon, who were inactive in the past years due to their mandatory military service, have finally reunited with Kang Seungyoon and Song Minho.

Kim Jinwoo, the oldest member, enlisted in the military on April 2, 2020 and was discharged on Dec. 31, 2021, while Lee Seunghoon enlisted on April 16, 2020 and completed his service on Jan. 14 of this year.

During the V Live broadcast, the WINNER members said that they have been thinking that they wanted to promote as a full group as soon as possible. They added that there is much more good energy within the group.

WINNER then drew attention by directly announcing their plans to make a comeback with all four members participating. They revealed that they have been making preparations for their return as a group for a very long time now.

"Also, we have lots of schedules planned. We have missed the fans very much. You can rest assured that we are preparing well and we will work hard so that 2022 will be a year full of activities," the WINNER members continued.

WINNER halted their full-group activities in April 2020 following the military enlistment of Kim Jinwoo and followed by Lee Seunghoon. While the two members were in the army, the two other members have been busy with their solo activities.

It has been almost two years since WINNER made a comeback, so attention is paid to what new colors and performances they will bring to the public after reuniting as a whole.

WINNER's Last Comeback before Halting Full-Group Activities

WINNER's latest comeback, in which all four members participated in, took place on April 9, 2020. The quartet released their third studio album "Remember." As a follow-up of their third EP "Cross," the album was made available in two versions: "Us" and "You."

A total of 12 songs are included in the album, one of which is the title song "Remember." Lee Seunghoon, Song Minho and Kang Seungyoon took part in writing and/or composing most of the tunes in the album including the title track.

WINNER's "Remember" peaked at No. 3 on the Gaon Weekly Album Chart and debuted at No. 4 on the monthly album chart after selling 113,346 total copies.

On the Hanteo Chart, "Remember" sold a total of 103,014 copies in the first week of release. This is the group's highest first-week sales to date.

Over on the iTunes Album charts, WINNER's "Remember" took first place in at least 20 different countries on April 10 as of 9:30 a.m. KST, including Russia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Thailand, Vietnam, Argentina, and more.

The studio album even secured No. 1 on the iTunes K-pop Albums chart in Japan, as well as on QQ Music's Daily Digital Album Sales chart in China.
