TWICE Jeongyeon Warms Hearts After Seeing Better Condition of an Abandoned Dog She's Temporarily Taking Care of Amid Hiatus
TWICE Jeongyeon proved that she's not only a beautiful idol in appearance but as well as her soul! In an online community platform, the female idol and her sister Seungyeon received praises for taking care of an abandoned dog, "Yuki," who showed huge improvement just a month under their care.
On Dec. 21 last year, Jeongyeon again stopped promoting with TWICE due to health reasons. While many fans hoped for her fast recovery and suggested she take enough rest, the "Fancy" singer won't stop doing good deeds along with her sister and actress Gong Seungyeon.

In particular, four days after her hiatus announcement, the Anseong Pyeonggang Princess Protection Center introduced on its official SNS on Dec. 25, 2021, "Courage (Yuki), who has severe skin disease, has star sisters. Actress Gong Seungyeon and Jeongyeon decided to temporarily protect the child (dog) ."
The "temporary protection" is like being a foster parent, where applicants or volunteers protect, shelter, or take care of abandoned dogs with nowhere to go until they find a new family.
Just then, the celebrity sisters became in charge of temporary protection of a puppy that had suffered severe skin diseases and gave him the name Yuki as a gift.

On January 14, about 20 days after the sisters decided to look after Yuki, an official Instagram account for an abandoned but now loved dog, Yuki, was created.
"I'm Yuki, an estimated three months old boy. Originally, I lived in a shelter under the name of "courage," but Jeongyeon noona gave a new name, and it was Yuki. I came from Anseong Pyeonggang Princess Shelter, and now sister Jeongyeon is temporarily protecting me. I've been suffering from skin diseases since I first came here. Now, I'm taking medicine, taking a medicated shower and getting better. Please look at me prettily."
Various photos of Yuki have been posted on the Instagram account, and on Jan. 17, his progress truly warmed internet users and K-pop enthusiasts.
In particular, Yuki's appearance a month ago, released by the shelter, looked exhausted from a severe skin disease. However, after meeting Gong Seungyeon and Jeongyeon, his eyes became sparkling, and his fur grew a lot.
In other words, the love the two sisters put on Yuki appeared in his expression and appearance. In response, the sisters and Yuki became a hot topic on online communities such as Theqoo, praising how Jeongyeon is an angel in disguise.
This is not the first time they have done good deeds. In January 2021, they also temporarily protected Pippi, an abandoned dog, through the same shelter until she found her new family. In August of the same year, they announced adopting an abandoned dog peanut as their family dog.
