On January 17, Taeyeon released her pop-punk ballad pre-release single "Can't Control Myself." Then shortly after, the song entered the iTunes song chart in different countries across the world.
As of January 18, the track has taken the top spot on the iTunes chart in 14 different regions including Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Cambodia.
Aside from that "Can't Control Myself" entered at #7 on the worldwide iTunes song chart.

Taeyeon released her 3rd full album pre-release single "Can't Control Myself" on January 17. Since its release, Taeyeon topped music charts like Genie and Bugs.
"Can't Control Myself" is a ballad song with a pop-punk genre that stimulates emotions with intense sound. The lyrics that Taeyeon participated in writing contain a dangerous love that has lost control and still longs for the other person's heart despite the intuition that it will hurt and hurt.

The lineup for the 'Gaon Chart Music Awards' has been revealed.
The full lineup of the artists that will appear at the 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards was revealed last January 11. Taeyeon is one of the artists to perform at the music awards event.
Moreover, according to the revealed lineup, this year's awards ceremony includes NCT 127, NCT DREAM, STAYC, Daniel Kang, THE BOYZ, Red Velvet, Brave Girls, SHINee, Standing Egg, OH MY GIRL, Lee Moo-jin, Lee Chan-won, Lim Young-Woong, and Homi are expected to attend and present a colorful stage.
The "Gaon Chart Music Awards," which marks its 11th anniversary this year, is a popular music awards ceremony based on the "Gaon Chart" data that aggregates data from online music platforms and physical album distributors.
STAYC's Sieun and Eunhyuk of Super Junior will be the host of this year's "11th Gaon Chart Music Awards."
The music awards event will be held at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul at 7 PM (KST) on January 27. It will be broadcast live on the Gaon Chart YouTube channel, 1theK (Wonder K), Kakao TV, and Melon.

Moreover "GOT the beat," which heralds SM Entertainment's project, is a unit based on intense dance songs and performances. It is composed of seven members from SM Entertainment's K-pop female acts.
The K-pop unit debuted last January 1 at the "SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU EXPRESS@KWANGYA."
